Essence Thief medium armor set

Im an Orc, Dragonknight, stamina/health build, 1h/shield both bars for PvE and sometimes for solo questing or IC PvE/PvP combo i run bow on second bar

I'm thinking to experiment with the Essence Thief medium armor set (Imperial City).
Anybody have experience and thoughts about this set?
Pros and Cons?

Where and how can I get a full set?

Undaunted keyes?
normal IC dungeons or only veteran IC dungeons?
other?

    Looks like a good set to me for a stam build in dungeons

    Sheer venom from prison is far better for stam builds. Much harder grind than WGT though.

    I have a full set in divines. Once I get my nb to v16 I'll let you know. Only have 4 pieces of sheer venom tho :(

    I taught they dropped with infused trait , but can be wrong

    They drop in all traits except impen. Never gotten any of the ic sets from wgt or icp in impen except for the monster helms

    Last I tested, took forever to proc, and when the essence spawns, it can be in a really inconvenient location, sometimes inaccessible

    You have to physically go and collect the essence. It appears nearby.

    It took me so many consecutive light attacks to even get the essence to proc. When you proc it a small rune goes off in a random direction and you have to step on it for the damage buff and resource return.

    Sometimes when it DOES proc, it can screw you over and move you into aoe, out of your trial stack or even into a wall and be inaccessible.

    I was really excited about it but it was a huge disappointment. Not sure if there has been any new testing but since then I haven't bothered to look back at the set itself.

    Wow, ok thanks... no longer excited about this set. lol

    I just assumed it was like every other set that procs...


    Maybe I'll try something else... 5 Marksman + 5 Hawks Eye + 1 random...
