the installer cannot be run

i installed today windows 10 x64 on my desktop, and in the last hours i've been trying to start the installation of ESO, but somehow i'm not allowed. it was a clean installation of the windows but i already updated all drivers and i downloaded the Install_ESO.exe from my account.

every time i launch the file Install_ESO.exe i get always the same message saying that "the installer cannot be run" and "multiple launches of this installer is not allowed. it will now quit" - and i can't do nothing from this point.

i already checked my task manager and i can confirm for sure that there are no multiple launches, also, i tried a lot of times to restart the computer and launch the file right after the computer starts and i still get the same message.

what does this mean? is there any limit number of installations in the same computer? i think that this may be the third time that i'm trying to install the game on this computer. any ideas?

i just tried with a different router and then without any internet connection but it doesn't make any difference. i have no idea how to install the game but looks like the file Install_ESO.exe is useless in Win 10 x64.

anyone knows if there are any other way to install the game? or where i can find an older install file to test?

Have you tried doing this under a strict clean boot?

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135

By clean, I mean everything that is not MS Windows related, no Anti Virus, no Firewalls, nothing. This is fully reversible, although keep in mind you don't really need anything loading with Windows, you can load what you want when you want to from the Start Menu
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

thank you for your help, unfortunately it didn't solve the problem. i disabled everything, there was not much since i installed the windows today, and i also installed the latest java version. nothing solves this problem. i believe that they may be sharing a damaged install file, this doesn't make any sense. i never had any problem to install the game on this computer with win7 and on my laptop i have the game installed with win10, so.... i don't understand. unfortunately i deleted the good install file the last time i installed ESO, and now i can't even ask for an old file because it'll be censored on the forum (this is insane).

a while ago i found the file Install_ESO_Beta.exe on an old hdd, i tried it and i was able to install the beta launcher without any problem at all, but when i launched it i wasn't able to update or access anything. anyway, how is it possible that an older than 2 years file to work better on win10 than the new hideous launcher installation?

i also tried to copy the installed files from my laptop to my desktop but it always fails to launch the game.

i really need a working install file, unfortunately i can't ask for it to anyone :(

this game was always a pain to install, but now it's going too far in the mess. it's ridiculous.
