You know latency is bad when this happens

I play on console and the game actually freezes. Music keeps playing, doesn't crash, can go to PS4 menu and stuff, but the game is just plain frozen. This is honestly the first time I have ever seen this happen. When and where did it happen? At a Dolmen fighting Worm Cultists with me and only one other player there. The timing is that of a crash though I suppose.

Zenimax, I hope there is a fix for all the lag we've experienced since Thieves Guild was released in the near future. A crash is one thing but an actual game freeze-up means it's on the game's end.

Yeah, freezes came with tg.

I didn't understand the link between lag and crashes though.

It's happening on Xbox one as well. I have done a hard reset on my Xbox more times in the last couple of weeks than ever before!
Wayrest Sewers (vet pledge) and the Vile Manse were two areas that were also a "group freeze" our small group had to all log out, rest and relog on again. Wayrest seemed to be correct after doing so, but we had to leave Vile Manse...just couldn't stop it from freezing.
