DLC Quest Starting Suggestion

Hello to my fellow players and ZOS devs,

I have recently been thinking about all the DLCs we have had released so far, Imperial City, Orsinium, and Thieves guild and all the DLCs we know about in the future, Dark Brotherhood, Murkmire, Clockwork City etc. Over the course of releasing these DLCs Zenimax has started the quest story for each DLC in a different place, Your Starting City, Cyrodiil base, and A fence.

With the current trend in place and how I know it is difficult for new players to find all the great diamonds in the rough the game provides and that if you wish to play a DLC you may not know how to get it started.

Could Zenimax create a DLC quest starting board in all major cities much like the same way crafting Writs are done? This could make it so players could get a quick quest taking them back to Davons Watch, Vukel Guard or Daggerfall to tell them that the ambassador for Wrothgar is waiting on them to assist in all the goings on for the Orsinium DLC.

This could just be a crazy idea but I think that when we start getting a crazy number of DLCs for the game it would be an amazing way for players to read about the potential story, decide to buy the DLC to pick up the quest, or just know where to get started.

this is a decant idea to have something in game would be kind of cool for the new players :)

It's a good idea, and I think that is exactly what Zos was aiming to do by making all DLC quests available via your collections screen.

Although I like the idea of a starting board, I think you may end up with with still not knowing where the board is. At least the collections screen is with you all the time. For sure - this DLC it was still a bit confusing as the DLC starting quests in the collections menu was brand new but I feel if they stick to it - it will help group the DLC starter quests together.

When did they say the starting quests are coming out of your collections menu?

It was new with Thieves Guild. You can see where it is placed on my Youtube video "How to Join Thieves Guild in ESO"
How To Get to Thieves Guild ESO (that links to the exact time I start showing it)

It was also mentioned in the patch notes :)

I honestly didn't know this existed. I didn't think ZOS gave us the starting quests for anything for the DLCs. Seriously sometimes i think i'm a noob.

I am happy ZOS has this!

Also, my video on "How to join/find thieves guild DLC" has garnered much less views/attention than my "How to get to Orsinium DLC".. so I think people are finding DLC's easier now.

You just go in and choose DLC...and then click to start quest.
When you buy the DLC a notification pops up within settings until you go there.

    I think I miss-understand you ask.
