From Xbox hotfix yesterday:

UI
Grouping Tool
Fixed an issue where, after forming a group, you could no longer see messages from your group members or their information would disappear from the UI.

I don't have high hopes - I expect to continue to have painful waits for dungeons.

My current issue with group finder is that folks (at least on PS4) don't know how to full fil their role choice , and that directly affects me and my experience, being that the role I choose is healer.

Likely because they're having to queue as all roles to actually find a party - definitely not something I would condone, btw!

It is massively frustrating!
I hate more that some people are forced into doing these things however.

I hate PUGs. If it wasn't or the fact the group activity was a godly amount of XP with that cake buff, I wouldn't even bother but damn, getting 3 levels for 1 dungeon is hard to pass on, especially with a week long time limit.

pugs arnt without their problems, but for the most part they are ok.

My friends and I use it to pick up one extra player most times and its always been fine, but after the update it takes between 1 and 3 hours to get one extra player dps.

And then we did city of ash yesterday and got kicked one by one 3 times in a row. Each time one person logged back in another was kicked, untill the game decided it was ok for us to continue.

Would just be nice if zenimax could just pop in and give us a little reasurence that things are being looked at.

I think the update you're asking for is "human updates".

Ppl are just ppl and if ppl are involved, it's never gonna work.
ZOS could add role restrictions based on min skills on a bar and kicking limits but....people

I dont mind about roles or restrictions, Im more interested in the way group finder worked before, it was fine for me and my friends, we waited no longer than 10 mins then. Now its between 1-3 hours.
Not sure why but would like that to be looked at.
