You die and you drop almost all of them, I really wanted to enjoy IC, but I gave up on trying to collect the stones.

I am a magika templar and I have no way to escape, as soon as I get ganked I either have to kill or be killed and sooner or later i get killed, specially when I'm fighting a mob and dropping low then i get ganked or when i get zerged.

I cant go back to store them ever 100 I get it would be insanely tedious .

What's the point of this stupid system??? At least drop like half but all???
All I read was "Hey everyone, I suck balls; please nerf everyone else so I can still suck balls" /thread

... Dude. What's up with you and sucking balls? >_>?

    Step 1: make invisibility pots
Step 2: sneak to an area you would expect to find competition
Step 3: wait until player gets sloppy while grinding and falls below 50% health
    Step 5: JESUS BEAMMMM
Step 6: use invisibility pot if necessary to get away
    Step 7:???
    Step 8: profit

Yes this is a tried and true 8 step path to success as a solo templar in the sewers.

If you tried that on Duiwel you would so die...

    RIP templar attempting to gank

Putting up a post decrying an entire area simply because you don't like it and find it difficult to play is simply selfish. I assumed trying to take away someone else's toy because you couldn't or wouldn't play with it to spoil the other's fun was something we all gave up when we became adults. Apparently I was wrong!

The mechanic where you lose your Tel Var stones was a brilliant move on the part of the developers in my opinion.

While you are certainly entitled to your opinion, it is only that...your opinion. The OP and others who do not like IC are also entitled to our opinions. There is nothing selfish or childish about your opinion or about ours. They are just simply different points of view.

You were too busy insulting the OP to realize that s/he is not attempting to "take away someone else's toy." Instead, like many, many other people who have commented about TV stones on this forum since IC was released, the OP essentially said that a loss of 80% is too high, but that possibly 50% would be ok.

There are numerous problems with IC, and the 80% loss factor is certainly high up on the list of issues that have made this DLC unsuccessful.

i wouldnt say its unsuccesful at all its IMHO way better than the TG DLC

Oh trust me I have no doubt it works, but if you tried that on this specific char ( I kind of farm IC hoping someone does this ) hence why my ult is always up, ST you and then just pow pow you're dead.

But in the situation you described ( in the words of Eric Wrobel ) "...it's going to be bad for you..."

If you lost 80% of your stones then you are doing something wrong :)

If you want a friend, get a dog.

The Risk/ Reward of IC makes it my favorite in ESO.

IC is best enjoyed with a group of friends. Get 12 together go farm the center sewers (with the portals and Molag) gain lots of TV stones and either work your way back or use the recall sigil. Bank and Repeat.

Want TV stones but play solo? Just do the dailies. Collect all 6 at once then start them. Turn them in when you are done and that is 1k tv stones a day that you can gain regardless of being killed and losing stones. Better yet get a group and worry even less about being killed. ( I start my dailies in that one section where everyone PVPs and work my way around )

    Tastes salty in here.

I've been to imperial city/sewers just one time. I was v1 or 2. Took on a couple mobs, got handed my arse, accepted that I was woefully under-equipped for that. So I started sneaking my way around above ground to explore and see the area. Ran into an ebonhart player, who dropped me like a wet sack of rabbit meatballs - entirely expectedly and just part of the way the zone is. Got under 50 stones from me, so the person KNOWS I have nothing.

THEN the exact same ebonhart player kept stalking me. Attack from stealth at the entrance or exit of each zone, getting ZERO stones from me each time, coming in to gank me when my freshly-vet under-geared character was having trouble with one lousy mob. I made it around the circle, managed to kill one clan fear on my way back to the base, got stalked by THE SAME PERSON before getting there.

    I have exactly 5 stones.

And I've seen plenty of that type of behavior from the reds in cyro. There's only one reason for Red pact v16s to go past cropsford and Bruma and cheydinhall and haunt the vlasterus quest spots, and that is to grief the lower levels. Gank them as stealth breaks to enter the building, or as stealth breaks to talk to jurana. So yeah, there's salt in here. I've got plenty of salt against Reds.

And a couple weeks ago I ran across a 30ish level blue in cyro. I'd been testing out taking resources solo and am not quite there yet, and leveled the (red controlled) farm tower for fun. Blue shows up, I've got no salt for them especially a low toon that still doesn't know stealth well, so when I was sure he finally noticed me and was looking, I give the salute and bowed and go on my way. That particular player didn't realize he was terribly underpowered and tried to bowshot me, and got dropped for it, but afterwards I gave again the salute and bowed - because I've got no salt for blues.

Yeah, it tastes salty in here. Imo it is well deserved salt, being created and maintained by continued player behaviour.
