It's a lot of hassle having to open collections every time I want cake, sure I burn a few extra calories hitting a couple extra buttons, but who has the time?

I am on PC, don't know how it works on console/controller UI - but in the inventory menu, the tab at top right will take you to your radial menu - then just under that the tab on the right is the one for your collections items - you can add it to your radial menu from there.
