For people like myself, character slots get filled quickly. I currently have a magicka and stamina version of each class, each with their own fleshed out identities and roles. Once I have these guys leveled, I'll be craving more unique characters and combinations to make. We currently have ten races, two genders, four classes, two class permutations, and ample room for diversity in playstyle and player design. Rather than buying a completely new account, and foregoing the DLC we own, the dyes we've unlocked, and the other benefits related to playing a dedicated account, why not offer and monetize extra character slots? I feel 1,000 crowns is a fair starting point for negotiation, how about you?

That's an interesting perspective, I never considered it being part of an update. How would you see this happening? Perhaps extra slots tied to a DLC purchase, or just slots incrementally added over a period of time?1 -

Bramble✭✭✭500-1000 CrownsI've purchased character slots in other games since I'm a confirmed alt-o-holic. Three to ten dollars, if memory serves.
Since one can only log in one character at a time, I don't think there'd be tremendous pressure put on the servers for additional characters. I think selling the character slots at a non-prohibitive cost would make more revenue over time since more characters equal more time spent playing, more attachment to one's account, more purchasing from the shop to get just the right outfit for that new character, etc.
I'd love for there to be enough character slots to have at least one of each class for each faction, but hopefully, there will be new classes introduced so it'd be grand if there was room to grow beyond 12 slots.
Priced over ten bucks, I'd consider character slots...in another game. >.>2 -

Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.

Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.

If this does come It'll probably be around $10-$15, which is around 1000-1500 crowns, and I'm sure it'll be in the middle of that so you will have to buy 2 crown packs because *** you.2 -

I like to twink and create alters, but I do care for my chars. I want them to have maxed skill points, well developed crafting skills, many achievements, high achievement scores, cool titles etc.
I realized that if I follow the above list this will eat a lot of time and therefore I am already well served with my 4 V16 chars. I might lvl my second NB one day, so I have 1 char of each class and two of my favorite class. They will be all magicka builds because I don't like playing stamina builds at all. I still find them a liability in PvE concerning survivability and PvP - after getting the skills from there - does not have my major interest.

If? Last I heard, from ZOS themselves, is that additional character slots will be available in the Crown Store with the Dark Brotherhood DLC, or so was the schedule. I would be right behind you if this had any chance of succeeding.. but as @Kalfis pointed out above, the game's B2P now. They need to generate revenue, we need more character slots. I think it's a fair trade.0
