I don't believe scrolls and ambrosia have ever stacked or were meant to. They are essentially crafted/purchased forms of the same item.

Yes I know but when someone specifically asked if we would be able to use cake+scroll+ambrosia or just cake + ambrosia or scroll, Gina replied saying that xp caps would be lifted and that all of them could stack (ambrosia+scroll+cake+eso plus etc.), just not multiples of the same item (10 ambrosias for a 500% xp boost at once)

That would be the ethical thing to do. So would ANNOUNCING IT RIGHT NOW so that people who are playing right now can use their scrolls and potions with the assurance that they will be awarded the xp they deserve rather than holding off using them and missing out.

Good luck getting retroactive XP, its too difficult to manage that most of the time. At best you can expect a refund on scrolls, more likely to receive an extension on event duration.

What I would like to know is if those of use that used an experience scroll in conjunction with the cake boost will be reimbursed for wasting a scroll due to the cake over righting the scroll instead of stacking properly as advertised on your page. I personally am lucky that I only used 1 scroll others as I've seen on this post not so much.

It was never NOT working for me. It worked all last night but I died a couple times and it fooled me a couple time because I didn't realize the buff didn't persist like other exp buffs.
