veteran ranks leveling

Is doing all main quests and side quests in Cadwel Silver and Gold suffice for me to gain veteran rank 16? Or do i need to do something else. I mainly like to solo.

You will need more then main quests to get to vr 16. even with exp scrolls that will not be enough.

I soloed 98% of my vr16 but I ran every map and did all delves, dungeons, side quests, dolmens, etc...

With the increased exp rates, and dlc you should have no issues hitting VR116 if doing all quests in order.
Basic 1-45, Silver, gold, DLC, Cyrodil Dailies

Cyrodil dailies are they solobale or will i get attacked by other players while doing them?

It is easy to do but depends on your play style. My last two characters (Templar, Nightblade) both made it to VR16 with at least four Cadwell's Gold zones left to do. I do every quest and kill everything I see. Never pass an opportunity to earn XP no matter how small (it adds up).

I really only ever play Solo.

My Main character is a Dunmer Sorcerer. By Questing alone, getting all of the Quests to get Pact Hero, Dominion Hero, and Covenant Hero; then nabbing just every Quest I could find, I hit VR16 about half-way through the last zone in Cadwell's Gold (which was Reaper's March for that character as he is a Pact sorcerer).

So it is easily possible to hit VR16 just by Questing solo, OP.

Also, make sure you do every Delve, Public Dungeon, and Dolmen along the way. When I hit Reaper's March, I was at VR15 1/2 by following this formula.

I never went into Cyrodiil until I hit VR16, so you don't even have to touch the PvP side (for the Quests in Cyrodiil) until you're done with Cadwell's Gold.

Yes, you can hit VR16 just by completing every zone. And, even then, you should get to VR16 before you start the last zone, if not before that even. Of course doing some grinding along the way will make it happen even faster.

Good news is, I have also taken 2 VR12's to VR16 just in Wrothgar. My VR12s got that way before the adjustments in Vet Exp to make it easier. I remember my first VR12 achieved that rank walking up to the last quest in the Gold Zone, but this was before we had any other content to do to gain more ranks.

What others have said. I did all main and side quests, did each WB and dolmen once each (for the achievement) and explored everything. By the time I hit VR16, I was on the second to last area in Gold. This is all without ever once using an XP boost of any kind.

Agreed if you do all the side stuff in the vet area it should geta ya to around vet 14/15, after that I would go to Wothgar and that should get ya to 16, Save thieves guild for the nice armor

Ive gotten to V16 vby doing all the quests in Cads Silver and Gold, all the main zone dungeons and some pledges along the way. Once you get through Cads gold if you still arent V16, go to Wrothgar if you have it and you should get there fine.

I do the daily random normal dungeon. Mostly takes 30 minutes to get 100.000 xp. And i find it fun to do
