There's a YouTube video with a dude who has 6.2k weapon damage. Other stats were poor tho.

Also been sent a screenshot on ps4 of a dude with 8k odd spell damage and a crystal frag tooltip of 28k. Obviously glitched...

Highest I've seen on my sorc is 4857, that's with the torugs pact 2 piece stat sheet bug.

Eh, Weapon damage and spell power are great and all...but shadow stone is where the dps is once your done with the number pissing contests lol. But yeah I have with apprentice stone a little over 4700 spell power, with spell power cure thats nearly 5k and Could "technically" be over 5k if I used a master staff and gave up nirnhoned. but again, that would not be more dps.

If you have over 38.3% crit chance you need to use Shadow stone. that is just how the math works out. and the only master weps worth using are those with either sharpend or precise dps wise (unless ur niche of course)

so yeah. spell power is not everything. weapon power isn't everything. Crit severity has a HUGE effect on your dps.

With all the PvP buffs, can get my alchemist to hit 5k spell power.
With igneous weapons, can get 5.5k
With SPC and other sets in a group, could probably get a lot more.

Weapon power I can probably get to about the same, if not a little bit higher.

I find the crit chance sweet spot around high 60s-low 70s. You may be able to give something else useful a bit of a boost and not lose much of anything I return. Just a thought :/

i think the highest I've ever seen was in beta when I tried to sneak up the broken main bridge to the Imperial City. I forgot the numbers and can't find a screenshot so quickly, but it's extremely high lol A Titan was involved, but I think that high damage didn't come from him.

The highest I've hit legitimately is 5.1k or so and that's with every possible buff you can get as a magicka sorcerer.

Without buff though I run ~2.8k on my DW bar.

I have 4603 weapon damage on my night blade

I have 3600+ spell damage on my sorc. This is with destro/resto and not using molag or swords. Will be much nicer when doing so.

I am using weapon damage and spell damage stones currently. I have a 77+% on weapon damage and 68+% on spell damage for critting. Should I really use the shadow?

If I do use the shadow, it will show my overall weapon and spell damage dropping, but I'll have harder hitting crits, right? I seem to crit constantly on my char. Any advice would be great here.

@Asayre is the king of math in this game, and here tamrielfoundry.com/topic/pts-2-1-2-sorcerer-arithmagic/ he outlines the optimal set-up for max dps. He has a 10% rule in place to determine if you would best benefit from the Thief or Shadow. Regardless which one you choose, both will equate to more DPS in PvE vs Warrior/Apprentice. PvP is a bit of a different beast as raw dmg is often desired since crits can be minimized thru shields, gear traits, and CPs. Hope this helps

For max spell damage, you will be looking at 5 Clever Alchemist + 5 Moondancer + 2 Kena, with Spell Power Cure buff on you, and with Powerful Assault buff on you. Gosh that would be insanely high.

I have 4200+ with rally and while in sneak/DW. This is using the maximum possible buffs/yellow sets (hundlings, kena, marksmen 3 piece, agility jewelry etc) available except for alchemist set.

I think Templars can get higher for some reason, but I really only know NBs.
