Well, I do enjoy the banking function. However I do have a bit of buyers remorse because I should have held out for a guild function and made a statement.

However, I don't mind supporting the game thou.

I'd expect the only time you'll see assistants out are at grind locations or delves/dungeons... or pretty much anywhere that doesn't offer fully functional merchants or bankers.

Others have said they've seen them. My post was to reference that I had traveled a lot over the course of a few days and hadn't seen one. If it were cheaper many more would have it and therefore I would have seen it.

I am not out to bash anyone who did buy it. I find it incredibly overpriced and limited, and not worth the price at all (you know the base fee for eso is $25 us right now right? For the whole game) but to each their own. My post was more to applaud folks for not mindlessly giving away $40-$50. Again I am sure it has sold some, but it's nice to see many are speaking with their wallets, much like the nord hero costume. You rarely ever see that too, at $20.

Us speaking with our wallet will FORCE zos to slowly adapt and change their prices. Does it mean we won't see crap like this again? Doubtful, but hey, at least special limited mounts are only 2500 instead of 3000 (like the ice horse) it shows they will bend if necessary.

I haven't seen any of them on PlayStation 4 either. Then again, I haven't been looking to see who has them or not, as I don't really care what the next person doesn't have or have. I'm just saying that I've yet to witness anyone with them. The common sense must be strong and growing.

I've seen several on NA PS4. I know a guildie has the Banker and I've ran into someone in Deshaan with the merchant.
I do like the Banker, even without guild bank/store access because I rarely use those feature, however the merchant is a total waste of crowns.

I wouldn't use 5k crowns on either one though.

They purchased the assistants because it is acceptable to them. You don't speak for everybody. They can spend their money however they want.

Yea they can its their money but its supporting a practice by Zos that's will just make the game worst for the player base so yes am saying its a waste of money and is showing ZOS that overpricing useless items isn't acceptable.

Ive seen one or two around on PC/NA. I personally find them too expensive to be worth it. I am glad however, that some people find these okay and are buying them. They are supporting the game I play with their $$ and if that means ESO will last a little longer, Ill take it.

Not seen many on NA PC, but IMO that is a good thing.

Purchasing a convenience item with the base cost of an expansion, if popular, makes me worried about the cost of future DLC's.

Because it's acceptable to them. If you don't want to buy it because you don't think it's worth it then that's your choice, doesn't mean everyone else will think like you.

I still had a bunch of crowns left over from the Black Friday sale. I don't normally buy anything from the crown store unless it's a DLC. I spend most of my time doing dungeons and stuff. Going to the bank is something I had to do very often. I bought the banker and it saves me so much time. From my position, it's well worth it. Also, my friends freeload off my banker. Don't know why my comment is showing up like this. SOMEBODY HELP

Only know one person on PS4 with it (Merchant), and our guild teases the dude for having bought it.

I will never tell someone how to spend their hard earned money...but you must admit it is a bit absurd to spend that much on a pet with limited functionality.

I can say that the dude who bought it regrets his decision, and has said he would return it if he could.

Saw my first one this morning...

Half a foot from the actual banker in craglorn. Was pretty comical.

What was even funnier is I opened him instead of the real banker (just to see what $50 gets you) and he promptly closed in under 10 seconds.

I assumed it's because the player moved away but no, he was still in the same spot.

So $50 and broken??!!!

Real question. Let's say I open the banker and a buddy uses it too. And then I am done and walk away, does it simply close down on the other user?

I have both merchant and banker on PS4. I like that they are account wide. But, I definitely appreciate the effort everyone is making to have them buffed with guild stores, guild banks and repair options. I'll continue to utilize them on my grinding episodes. But, keep pressuring ZOS to improve them because they are currently a little less than expected.

It closes if he moves away. And it closes periodically if you leave him open for a long time.

I've yet to see one personally on PS4. The price is a little steep, so I'm not surprised they're scarce. I'd expect it to sell well on PC but not so much on console. Don't get me wrong, the convenience is very tempting, but...I could just buy an entire DLC with those crowns...a DLC with hundreds of NPCs one of which is a banker lol. That's just my pov.

Lol I seen this happened before with People quotes and I don't know how to help you sorry.Well yes its a time saver come on man what do it really save you a extra 1-2 minutes? Also the banker doesn't help with all the decon items you got while doing those dungeons so you still have to port to a town to decon those items.The same with grinding you will have to port back to a location with a bank anyway so its not really worth it.I will say yes its your money and you have a right to spend it on anything you want but please if you are going to support the game do it in a way that benefits the entire community and show Zos that they need to rethink their ideas.Am sorry but a lot of the things in the crown store are not quality products and that's what I want to be supported quality products which will show Zos that when you out heart in your work you are rewarded by your player base because that's show that you care.

My crafter is on another toon. I bank all blues, purples, motifs, ingredients and glyphs. I sell everything else while grinding. My crafter logs and decons. My grinder continues grinding. This is good if you alt a lot. But I can see it as a waste if you main 1 toon 95% of the time.
