Nightblades Ruining PVP Again...

Yep... Another one of these threads. All you see now is: Proximity Detonation, Sap Essence, Soul Tether, Lotus Fan over and over and over again with the Vicious Death set. It's getting out of hand now. While I understand it's apart of the game, and I'm aware that the key to avoiding VD's explosion is keeping distance between me and the next person... This combo has to be checked by devs and ASAP. As it is PVP is dying, and the lag there is horrendous... Now you have this bs going on. I just don't know, ZOS... I really don't know. But I really hope the next TESO comes soon. Because this nonsense right here...? I'm not feeling it.

You know what would fix things? Fixing the actual issues in pvp rather than the band-aid fixes known as proxy det and vicious death. They aren't the problems, they're symptoms of other issues they refuse to see in pvp.

So here you go. Now everyone gets wiped whether they are in a zerg or not. In the game of ganks, you Proxy Vicious Death or you die.

I, for one, welcome our new proxy det overlords.

yee...this crap new meta for nb...this seriously ruing game..this isnt funny when you on all next stp see it...I'm playing only nb since beta...and that how it is good for me, not with *** meta only on max ap etc...now I missing old days on start game when dk wast FOTM, immortal with perm block and reflect...it was better than with stinky bombing nb

It's all of this in combination, plus AOE caps and "balancing issues". It's literally as though ZOS wants the game to go toward a magicka direction, but at the same time refuse to balance and check silly stamina things (e.g. Wrecking Blow spam and Steel Tornado spam).

Yep. I refuse to touch Magelight or any of its morphs. Even on my Sorcerer and Templar. Forget that noise. It's a complete waste of a slot. And even then, I don't know why Nightblades complained about it. All they did was just initiate a fight, then cloak away when they started losing. And ironically enough? That's what they're STILL doing. But, this time incorporating Proxy Detonation, Sap Essence, and Soul Tether into the mix. Thus making things even worse than before. You thought Imperial City was bad back then with Nightblade gankers? Haha! It's way worse now.

I recently switched my redguard to a magblade and have to say that it is so much fun killing several people with the well known strategy. Never had more fun than right now.
But, you are right, this can´t be a thing. You should not kill several guys with that killer combo due to a set, you should kill several guys cause of skills and removed AOE caps.
I am not happy that this set is in the game, but I am sick and tired of all the zerg mentality. "Let´s go zerg, chase that one guy down. And Ultis, fire all your ultis at this one dude, we must show dominance".

The magicka nightblade lobby lied and lied and claimed "they didn't hit hard" and "they weren't op".

I watched them, post after post, redirect all complaints about nightblades to "stamblades" are op.

Whats the difference between that and a shield stacking sorc who dashes away when they are in trouble?

templars who literally either stand there and heal themselves or just use jabs then executioner?

no creativity at all from most players and some will even blame ZOS for it haha

my build is MY build. Everything about it. I dont watch PVPers videos or copy anyone else I do my own thing which is very successful for me as its unpredictable.

No need to remove aoe-Caps, just remove all aoe`s in AvA , allow aoe`s only from siege and healing.

...? What's the difference? Okay sure. The difference is, shield stacking does NOT deal damage to an enemy, while also applying crowd control. The difference is, every single time that Sorcerer uses Bolt Escape (or its morphs)? The cost goes up, if used back to back. Meaning they can't keep doing it nonstop. Last I checked Nightblades don't have this "penalty" with their abilities (specifically cloak and its morphs). The difference is, Jabs is damn channel.

C'mon now. You know just like I know that Nightblades are a very large problem, and have lied their way into this mess which is plaguing PVP right now. And ZOS as per usual were the simpletons who believed their nonsense and followed it up. And thus now? This broken combo.

I feel you OP. At this point it's best just to unsub and play casual PvP for funsies until CU comes out. ZOS has proven that PvP is nothing more to them than a cute mini-game in their giant carebear land. They don't care about it even a little bit.

I know what we can do! Stop complaining whenever something effects our own style of play and understand that we may have to change up time to time, before deciding it is broke. I have never found any of the things that get complained about to be a problem. Ever. (THIS may be, cannot say yet, has not really effected me yet)

I am not saying an opinion should not be voiced, but it gets a bit tiring to read how ZOS does not care, but then read how they are always messing things up when they change the things that was being complained about last month.

You can find some recently on these very boards...

Stamina NBs are too uber
Magic NBs are too uber
Sorcs are too uber
DKs are too uber
Magical Templars are too uber
Stamina Templars are too uber
Zergs are horrible
We need to fix lag so we can Zerg
Single players should not be able to survive so easy
You should be able to survive better solo
EP pop lock kills the server
AD pop lock kills the server
DC pop lock kills the server
EP cheats
AD cheats
DC cheats

I am not talking about THIS particular case, I am saying too often things are complained about that effect style of play, as opposed to being a game breaker or a real problem. Every time they "fixed" those problems, it creates something worse. As I said above, I have had to change style of play time to time, but have yet to change any of my basic builds because something was that broke. The PvP population needs to get a handle on what we complain about before they can fix any of the real problems.

Wrong: The player decides to use, what ends up being hated, so they can dominate. Just as bullies always do. All you can blame ZOS for, is creating some sort of social experiment, wherein everyone smart enough gets to see, who takes the easy and who takes the challenging path.

Could you guys share some counters for this? Staying seperated doesn't work, and I hate fights where I don't get to fight back, I'd like to hear how these NBs running this cheese acknowledge as their achilles heel, what makes them crumble.

Actually no it's not, ZOS introduced a set designed to destroy stacked groups, and you are gonna get mad at the player for using it?
