Outlaw medium armour dyed white = brown?

I realise dyes change depending on the textures of armour but using the moonstone dye on this set gives me a washed out brown (and yet I'm able to dye the set green and it shows up perfectly). Has anyone found a way to get passed this problem? This is the only decent white dye I have currently available so I cannot test any others.

I don't think we can bypass these color malfunctions, especially on Light armor (why does Light armor have to suffer so much when it comes to coloring?)

Experienced this earlier when I tried Julianos White on my Light Outlaw armor. It gave it a kinda yucky brown/tan hue.

This also happens on Light Barbaric armor and Light Mercenary (White on this armor makes me puke).

I was afraid of that guess I better get used to Browns and greens.

For real, I feel your pain. We need better control over how our dyes show up!

In GW2 no matter the armor skin... dye colors are always what they are supposed to be. Sure there might be small variation but for the most part you can mix armor styles and the colors will still match. In ESO every armor style seems to take color differently which is so annoying. What is supposed red on one armor might be pink or even orange... WTF

Yep, it's brown. The same with light armor. The other thing that bothers me is that these shiny silver metal buckles (if this word is correct) are not dyeable at all and never match the armor dyes. My Outlaw outfit I dyed dark grey/black, but these buckles stand out in silver.

They to do a QoL patch to improve the consistency of dyes tbh. I'm in full outlaws medium on my Templar and when I dye it Julianos White it's grey...not white.

Also... its not a bug... its what comes closest to dyeing cured leather with white colors... Sure now a days we have means to apply any color we like to fabrics and leather... But that needs a good deal of chemicals and a whole bunch of knowledge and craftmansship I guess...

I actually thought the metal pieces were the only bits that looked cyan when I used the moonstone dye.

Dyes are a great part of the game by sadly they major fixing some items are too white, some wrong color, some parts don't dye at all. Few sets do dye right but shields of the same crafting set many times not match up color wise at all. I hopeful this one day be corrected.
