Weapons stuck with Visual effect

This is happening only when I kill an enemy with use the Templar Skill "Solar Flare" which grants me the "Empower" effect (20% additional damage on my next attack) as the killing blow or the target dies before the buff goes away.

Well the thing is the effect stays and never goes away not even reloading the UI or changing zones, it only goes away by doing a relog. Here is a screenshot of what I mean:

Its pretty bad when using expert hunter or igneous weapons & switching between DW & 2H bars. If you keep using the buffs & switching, after a while the DW weapons disappear altogether & you DW attack with the 2H. It was funny at first.... after 6 months its just annoying.

This happens with a few different skills and has been going on forever. Pretty much any skill that puts a glow effect on your weapon will do this if you weapon swap. With Igneous Weapons I can leave a trail of fireballs behind me if I do it just right

I had the same issue when I morphed solar flare into dark flare it stopped happening. If you have the glow when morphing you'll still need to logout to get rid of it one last time.

I was thinking on going for the solar barrage morph... would that correct the issue still?

I can't say for certain it should but if it doesn't around the second hub of each faction when your normally around level 15-16 you can unmorph skills so you would always have that to fall back on if solar barrage doesn't fix this issue.
