Im horrified with ZOS!

Im so horrified with ZOS, i came home, tried to log into my account, and all my details were changed, same with my email details
i contacted ZOS for help and support AND THEY BANNED MY ACCOUNT AND TOLD ME THE CASE WAS CLOSED!!!!

Is this the help they are really going to give when i try to come to them for help!?!?! This is pathetic!
its not the first time they have done a ban so stupidly before, like the time they banned germantrocity over his Toon name,
Im actually so angry to think ZOS would ban someone when there trying to go to them for help? and i have alot of friends to back me up on this
this is stupid zos and yous will be hearing alot more from me!

Support issues are generally handled via the ticket system. While it's unfortunate you're having a bad time of things (to put it mildly), the forums and forum moderators aren't going to be able to help you.

All you can really do is dispute the judgment and ask what can be done to re-instate the account, get more details about why it was banned, and so on. You will not get those answers here, however.

If his account was hacked they ban it so the person cannot regain access to it who stole it. Obviously they have his email password as well or they wouldnt be able to login.

No, ZOS would not be able to access my email, they banned my account and told me it is final for "account sharing" when i did no such thing!
Ive done nothing wrong and im being banned for it
i know noone here can help me, but i want zos put on show, everyone should see how poor there service is

lol always the account sharers never did anything like it.

Any ticket I ever put in a ticket I was answered with "we are not able to do anything, i am closing this ticket."

Is is a temporary ban or do they drop permanent bans everything?

Well, thing is they might have banned him for buying from gold seller sites.
They hacked his account, by hacking his email and getting password changed most likely and then they have full control over his account.

The only way I think they would hack into your account is if they know the password to it. Or put a virus or key stroker into your computer then hacked your information.

Thing is if you did by from gold sellers then you should be banned perm, if you did not then you should be fine once you proven you changed your password and everything.
Thing is they don't tolerate buying from third party sites.
Which is good thing and I am happy about this.

Though I am not happy you got banned unless it was because you bought from third party gold seller sites. That I would be happy about because it was your choice to do it it.

If ESO had gold -> crowns, crowns -> gold like GW2's shop... then gold sellers wouldn't be able to compete even with lower prices. If there was a legit way to buy gold no one would ever try one of those scammers.

I am glad they were hurt so much they don't gold spam in zone chat!

All hail the mighty Delete Limit!
This hurts bots because they can't farm gold and can't spam zones and channels.
So long as this game remains buy to play they will not return, not with the delete limit in place.

People should not buy in game currency they can get in game easy period.
They do not need to add the in game currency in cash shop.

No i never bought gold, ive only ever earned it in game (its so easy to get why would i need to buy it)
the only person that has logged onto my account is my brother, which was abuot 3 or 4 times, around the end of last year....
if i get banned for my BROTHER using my account thats totally ***
like i said, i came home, my *** was all changed including my email, and when i tried to get help, zos said im banned

I once reported a gold seller in another game. They accidentally banned me instead of the guy who I reported for spamming the zone chat with gold seller ads. It took them a week to fix it and everytime some reward came out I would not get it because I had a ban on my record for gold selling. Even tho I didnt do anything. So Id have to put in a ticket. Could be some joke your brother did to you.
But yeah maybe you could talk with him about that. Basically that could be the problem.

First, gold sites and websites do not work like that, specially with all the software to protect your PC. So this is proving that he did not buy gold.

this is stupid zos and yous will be hearing a lot more from me!

ZOS solution was poor on this. With no proof they technically cannot ban you, but they rule the game and will drop the ban hammer if they must. ZOS should have helped you recover your account information, specially if you showed a strong proof of purchase. They can also track IPs back (i've seen many MMO games do this) They trace the IP and see when the hack happened and see what caused this. Knowing you are the rightful owner due to the IP difference and multiple logins by your IP over the time.

You can try to contact Zenimax again, take it further under investigation, request a refund, appeal again (can usually appeal 3times), however seeing as they made a quick rash decision you may be out of luck. If you have tried the following:
1)Submit appeal
2)Provide proof of purchase, game code + game case + disc should work.
3)Provided country, and residency
4)Answered all security questions
5)Show identification if needed

Then they should be able to restore the account back a week ago or some sort, fix your account and give you rightful owner, if they did not and blamed selling the account then they should show some sort of proof that you did indeed sell your account. Without proof the ban cannot hold up(in a court system time setting).

The last resort Zenimax could have done was an IP trace for the last month or two, saw your log in from your country, your city, and your area and then notice a strange IP login from somewhere else.

If what OP is saying is true, then ZOS has more problems within its core than we may all would like to believe. And the way things have been looking lately, I don't exactly think OP is lying. As someone posted previously, they handle support tickets rather apathetically and lackluster. I speak on this from first-hand experience with their support system. So, I wouldn't really doubt OP. I even gave them my game CDKEY and photo proof of my case & cdkey, but i got NO HELP IN RETURN
its beyond a joke, they dont pay close enough attention, 2 days it took from me asking for help, to them handing my account that im trying to get back, a perma ban, 2 days is not enough time for them to decide something like that, there being lazy, careless, worst support ive EVER had in a game, none of you can back them up because WE ALL KNOW and have seen that ZOS is very very very careless with what they do, there well known for rushing things
hell they give us 1 month on the pts to find every bug and exploit, 1 MONTH! Its made me very annoyed and upset

This is all speculation we don't and probably never know why they banned him so to try and comment on this would be very difficult, he needs to speak with Zos directly not come onto the forums and try to post a negative image of Zos as this will not achieve much

No some person was pming me on forums I think. I don't know what I did to *** him off first he said that I was stupid for calling gold sellers hackers.

Well, i would speak to them directly, but i have no number to contact, and ive sent about 10 emails to them, ALL OF THEM being the reply saying the case is closed, what else should i do? just let it go? no thanks, ill put them on show for everyone to see how "great" there support really is

Well, thing is the best bet is for him to log into the site change his password and contact the people again, also tell him he accidentally gave his brother access to his email account and most likly thats how he got ahold of it and changed everything if this is what happened.
