Just want to ask what makes templars have harder time than sorcerer in vMA?

Hi guys, i just finished leveling all 4 classes to vr 16. According to my feeling templar and sorcerer are the two easiest class for clearing map. Thanks to the combo of pet+burst damage and combo of 'templar housing' + Jesus Beam.
However when things come to vMA, i am really shocked by the current situation as sorcerer is still the best while templar is 10k score far away from sorcerer. Then i really want to know what make things so different in vMA? Is templar possible to chase sorcerer with the similar score in future ( near 56k) ?

    It's literally just Hardened Ward.

Magicka Templars are fairly easy because of Puncturing Sweeps. AoE Cone + Healing. Pair that up with your choice: House or Extended Ritual and you've got even more healing.

As long as you're hitting something, you aren't going to die (unless you get CC'd of course).

May i ask an additional question about NB , i mean what makes NB get higher score than templars?

I don't main a Nightblade but most of the high scores are from Magicka Nightblades. They've got a few aspects that are very beneficial.
    • 8% Max Magicka Passive
    • Cripple - Single-target high-damage DoT + Major Expedition 30% Speed
    • Merciless Resolve - Single-target high-damage + Major Berserk 8% Damage
    • Siphoning Strikes - OP as hell active ability that will always keep your resources up
    • Swallow Soul/Funnel Health - Main damaging ability + Good healing + Scales very well with stats

If a templar get cc while surrounded, they can't heal, they can't run.
If a sorc get cc, they still have a shield (which any sorc would always keep it up all the time) so they have a bigger window to react and break free, steak away, stun the melee enemies, spam shield while heal back up.
Templar also have less mobile, all their skill or melee, or have a cast/channel time which they are slowed, so they can't kite and run out of red as effective as an instance cast sorc with steak.
NB is a bit better than Templar, I think, because they have more mobile with instance cast skills. Their spam skills also heal and does damage, but are cheaper, and they have better resource management. Also Templar ult are crap. Templar "oh sh!t" ult is Rite of Passage only make the dying last longer and more painful, watching your character stuck in 1 place, keep getting hit, while the enemy laughing and waiting for you to finish that Ult and kill you. Meanwhile NB can Soul Tether, stun and damage the enemy, heal himself up, while still running around avoid red or killing things.
