Vet ranks removal question

Apologies up front if this has been answered already.
When they remove Vet ranks and go only CP, will all alts still enjoy CP gained by main?
Specifically, if I have a max CP toon now, after the change, will I just level alts to 50 and bang!, they are max CP as well? (I guess it would eliminate the agreement for class changes, as it will only take a matter of a week or two to roll and alt and be maxed out if this is the case).
At least now, while alts enjoy CP, they still have to grind through Vet ranks to wear improved gear, etc.
