There's an undaunted bonus for mixed armor? I considered mixing in a piece or 2 of other armor types for the passives but it seemed that full medium would be best for this build.Slayer9292_ESO wrote: »I do 5 medium, 1 light and 1 heavy for the undaunted bonus (Vet level), but it's also good to do that when leveling so you'll max out all armor skills by V16.
Everything else you said was definitely helpful as I also want to run dual daggers for the assassin feel (or swords) and have been using DW/Bow thus far (not bombard, though it makes sense to add it for the root).
This character hasn't touched a dungeon yet (at least not a group dungeon) but I think I will add 1 heavy armor piece for the added protection and bonus as they feel somewhat squishy at times....especially when coming from my heavy armor buff user.Slayer9292_ESO wrote: »Undaunted Mettle. Thanks again for the input, rather then pick apart the thread I gave an insightful to the posts that were helpful.
@reften
I appreciate the PvP advice as I plan on trying them in Cyrodiil once they hit vet rank (currently level 40). I will most likely get annihilated but I want to try anywayThere's an undaunted bonus for mixed armor? So is fear that good? I see it recommended a few times and I'm assuming it's aspect of terror that everyone is speaking about.
I haven't really found something that "fits" with this build yet, hence why I'm asking for advice. The fear skill sounds useful to thin the herd but I think I might go for the bow skill that roots instead of scaring them away. Do enemies affect by fear start attacking again once hit or do they stay afraid throughout the duration of the spell?
For Crowd Control to allow you to concentrate on just a few mobs at time, yes. Is it the only way to crowd control? No, but what method you choose is the one that matches how you play. BTW, Mass Hysteria is the morph I use, as it works on 3 mobs. Go up to a crowd of 5 or 6 mobs, cast fear, take the two out that stay, then go after the others. Since they go in different directions the other mobs have to move to you giving you more time to take out the mobs.
But you have to play with it and see if fits your style.

ha I see you and gave you points for your post...my first bar is almost the same as yours (except fear) and I know 2H is 'better' but I really want to stick with bow on backup as I already have a 2H guy and don't care to make a bow user.

@Vigarr
you dnt need 2h, but it gives rally (the only stam heal besides vigor)
let me give you an instance. you are fighting 6-7 mobs. throw down you arrow volley, run in that circle fear the mobs (now they all running away) spam your steel tornado, they all dead
i dont think there is a reason to have killers blade, dw steel tornado is great and should stay on your bar
and as nestor says, try to have 1 assassin, 1 shadow, and 1 siphon ability slotted on both bars at all times.
this is why i use my soul tether ulti on both bars.
Well my night blade is a Breton and I did alright when I respec'd stamina for the lolz.
I can see that workingsirrmattus wrote: »

Keep in mind the guide is written around purely an end game perspective, and the only help with leveling will be what abilities you should be focusing on getting to max rank. Almost everything in this guide has been mathematically tested to find the optimal damage output, as well as a few tips for solo play.
