Little direction with thieves guild?

My friend and i began the thieves guild quests. My wife is also interested in playing the dlc on her character.

Can someone give me a little direction? I realize there is a main quest and then many side quests, or repeatable quests. Can someone detail what daily quests there are? And where they are located (to be picked up daily)

Basically my friend and I want to know what quests we shouldn't do without each other since we're trying to do the main quest together. I believe we've done two main quests but then picked up different missions from the same guy and we got pretty lost. I figured it's like the wrothgar daily boss, where people can get different quests daily.

Any help or input would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Have a look at your achievements page (it will be at the bottom under DLC, Thieves Guild). There is an achievement for each main quest of the DLC, and the achievement includes the name of the quest. :)
GM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

Epona was a Romano-Celtic goddess dating back to around 1800 to 2000 years before computer games were invented.

There are 3 places to pick up repeatable quests (I won't use the term dailies for reasons that will become obvious).
    1. Heist Board (location: inside Thieves Den on the right when you're going to the exit that takes you outside the city). This is a daily quest in the exact same way as the Wrothgar world boss dailies - your character can only pick up one per day, but if you're grouped with someone they can share their quest, and through this you can do multiple heist quests per day. The heist board isn't unlocked until after you've reached a certain point. I'm not sure if it's based on your Thieves Guild skill rank, or if it's triggered by completing a particular one-time TG quest, but at a certain point you'll get a mini-quest to find and talk to the Khajiit who will end up running the heists. This will open up the heist repeatable quests.
    2. Tip Board (location: inside Thieves Den between the fence and the banker). This is repeatable as many times as you want - you can do 100 in a single day if you want. No idea if these can be shared, but I wouldn't think so. This is unlocked as soon as you complete the quest that inducts you into the TG (ie. when you first find the Thieves Den).
    3. Reacquisition Board (location: outside the Abah's Landing entrance to the Thieves Den ahead and to the right as you're facing away from the entrance). I'm actually not sure if this is a true daily quest or if it's repeatable as many times as you like - I've only done it a couple of times. This is also unlocked as soon as you complete the quest that inducts you into the TG.

Kari's hit list is another quest although it doesn't track as an active quest. Look for the book on the table in the main area of the thieves den and follow the clues. Completing this nets you a cool reward and the title of master thief.

I really appreciate you taking the time to detail that info. People like you make eso great! Thanks again :)

Have a look here: UESP: ESO Thieves Guild Quests.

The first six are the main quest chain, the seven personal ones after that are also part of the guild's "storyline", and all the ones listed under Larceny Quests are the repeatables. You need to complete the repeatables in order to progress through the Guild ranks and unlock later story quests.
