Vampire and Werewolf Infection in the Alliance War - Should it be Added?

I know that in regards to suggestions, Zenimax probably won't listen, but it is a forum and I like to believe that in general, forums are meant to share thoughts and ideas, so due to the lack of a suggestion forum, this one will have to do since it's the closest to what I want to touch on.

But first of all, gather all, for I have a tale to tell. Of war, peace and Ayrenn's nethers.

So I was in the Alliance War, trying to clear all the delves, when I came across a lone woman from the filthy Breton race adventuring on her own. Being a Nightblade, I decided to sneak up on her from behind.

However, once I got within range, I noticed the prompt to feed on her, being that I am a vampire. And so I did, probably scaring the *** out of them in the process.

Long story short, we engaged in an honorable one-versus-one duel of Nightblade vampire against fire-magic Sorcerer. I fought well and hard for a minute with her, bringing her down to around five percent health, before falling to the power of her flames. I messaged her congratulating her, asking if she was infected, which she replied to, saying she hadn't been.

So what I am really wondering is, would it be possible to add vampire/werewolf feeding in the Alliance War? I know that it would be possible, but it being done is a whole other story. I know a lot of people would oppose this possibility (just like many would endorse it), though it would be a rare event, given that only Nightblades can sneak up on enemies without much difficulty due to cloaking as far as I know.

Any thoughts on this being added? And if so, should it have a timer like normal feeding?

Can you explain the timer thing? I've never looked into vampirism in the game. I think it would be cool if you could be infected, then given the chance to purge it or just accept your fate.

Of course! Once you level your Vampirism/Lycanthropy to a certain level, you can unlock the ability to infect a willing player of your own alliance with the condition near a shrine dedicated to the two. There's one altar for each of the two conditions, and they're found in the fifth zone of all three alliance territories.

The timer is a cooldown of seven days, meaning you can only infect one player a week.

If you mean you can infect players against their will/desire to be a vamp or ww, no.

Honestly I think I'd have to say no altogether it's pretty easy to go to the shines in the pve zones for this. We dont need shines in Cyrodil or people taking up que spots for bites. I can also hear the qq now from people going to and from the shrines getting ganked along the way or at the shrine.

Completely useless function to implement imo since it doesn't impact combat as a whole....plus no one really uses that feed synergy anymore since it can be cc broke

As much as I love the dynamic infection system (something I always add to my skyrim load order ever since those mods were made) I have to say no. It would be nothing more than tedious work avoiding the infection, and the infection itself only gives access to the quest. All it would do is clutter up the ui of non-vamps/ww's who pvp since those who would likely want a bite would find one in a more reliable way.

For clarity, yes, I do mean infecting players against their will.

HOWEVER, they would still have to perform the initiation to become a full vampire/werewolf or go to the priest of Arkay to get themselves cured in their own zone. I'm not talking about forcing vampire/werewolf infection on players, but instead the dynamic of being able to infect players in the Alliance War. Not the addition of shrines in PvP. Just the ability to infect players there involuntarily.

I have soooooo many cool ideas for reworking vampirism and making it and lycanthropy more interactive in PvP.

Ideas that would actually be attractive to true PvPers.

But let's not distract ZoS with stuff like this until they've fixed the real issues with the game. Thanks.
