THE ELITISTS IN THIS GAME ARE TERRIBLE (BOTH PvE AND PvP)

Right because people looking for group members their own level are elitists, get over it. If you dont like people leaving your group get max vet already.

Dude you are a punk and ruin MMOs. This is why MMOs are turning more and more solo friendly cause people dont want to group cause of punks like you.

Hmm interesting I have no problems finding groups

But I guess this is the forums and you know me

PvP architecture in ESO is wrong.

    End of the discussion.

It's only cool just when you watch Sypher 3 minutes videos he upload... But how much he has to play to get that piece?

I don't have all the day to lose my time, finding a group, hoping find some good pvp and etc ... Is just really realy bad.

That's why sadly after playing lol, after playing ESO for the wrong reason to do pvp and enjoy of it, im playing again now HONS.

I tried BDO but in my opinion is bad. I can't accept that I can not use the weapon i want, customize my skills to be what i want like in ESO, and etc.

In BDO every class is lineal, that means all classes of the same type are all the same.

I have noticed, like op did, that there are v16 players who dont want a lower vet level player in their group. Thats not elitist i think; its being unsure about their own capabilities or being hasty wanting to do pledge in 10 minutes instead of having fun playing with a group. I rarely use group tool so a lower level veteran will have to do the dung at v16 unscaled; that is working out fine most of times. I usually play with people who also have no trouble taking inexperenced or lower level players along and some of those low level/inexperienced players end up on our friendslists for being nice people and/or (potentially) very good players.

I remember when the ESO community used to be fun, supportive, and helpful. I was honestly shocked the first time someone started badmouthing and insulting me on the forums for holding a different opinion to them, and I was also surprised the first times I came across an honest to goodness complete jerk while running a dungeon or doing PVP.

    In your dreams.
Delusional elitists have no idea of how many great players are so much better players than they are.
Reason being? THEY dont feel the need to brag about anything.
They're too busy playing or trying to help others.

The only thing that my PVP guild requires is TeamSpeak. Sometimes, we will recruit in zone. Sometimes, we will pick up pugs. But the vast majority of the time, it is guild only. Level doesn't matter as I have ran with my level 19 DK instead of one of my V16s. TS makes it easier to play,so that is why we require it. And guess what, the guild also does pledges. It is primarily a PVP guild, but I often see the pledge in guild chat.

I have only ever come upon one jerk in PvE. It was in a CoH run and he kept calling me pug and trying to blame me when he died (and i'm DPS not healer or tank). Ironically, he's the only one that kept dying so i was just laughing at him and stopped resing him.

in PvP i get nothing but rage tell. the other day i came upon my first pleasant encounter with an enemy faction they where nice and we talked a bit after we fought, that was a surprise.... kinda sad.

And casuals/randoms that pull 6k dps, die all the time and dont understand boss mechanics are great!

Nobody starts as a good player, it's a learning curve every one has to adapt to.

Its not that hard to watch a YT video to improve your build, dps rotation or to learn the mechanics.

I still come across players who dont know the alter mechanic in vet Wayrest, thats just embarrassing if you ask me.

If you find it so embarrassing.. Why do you random group find? Surely the saviour to your embarrassment would be to not use group find.

Why does everything have to come down to 'YouTube to find the answer' .. is figuering out the mechanics to something really that much of an historical feat?

This is exactly the mentality why I love the fact that I dont have to run dungeons anyone.

Expecting 3 players to waste their time while someone figures out the mechanics, really!?

Its not like Im expecting top-dps or anything too difficult, just a little preparation.

Yeah, that's because the dungeons will scale to V16, and if you're trying to run V16 vet dungeons as a non-v16, you're going to get smeared across the walls unless you are really good.

Um... YOU are leveled up to VR16 as well, you know. Everyone is with the random dungeon finder. Mind you, skills and abilities are not unlocked for you, and your gear still remains whatever level it normally is. That being said, I've managed to clear out those battle-leveled dungeons on VR1-VR7 characters with no problems at all.

Unless someone really has no idea what they're doing (and I have seen VR16 healers who just spam rapid regen and stand around wondering why people are dying saying 'we need to rez faster!') then there's no reason at all to leave the group. Just today I got a group on my VR8 stamplar with a V3, V16, and a level 11 tank. We cleared it with zero deaths and the tank was better than many VR tanks I come across.

So while I don't fully agree with the OP's attitude, I will say that calling those people 'elitists' is absolutely warranted, and accurate in many cases.

There was one time on the random finder that i got grouped with a v16 orc magicka dk with only 1200 spell damage and was a werewolf. He had absolutely no idea what he was doing. This was for vWGT. Biggest waste of 3 hours of my life. Didn't even clear the first boss.

If you don't have a lot of time to play, you don't want to take chances like that....

Sometimes I can empathize for these elitists.

I use activity finder often. I have never left a group because someone is not vet 16. Lower levels get battle leveled so it is not really a big deal. Most lower levels are alts and they know what they are doing.

Somtimes I get into a group that is struggling but I do not leave. I just help them understand the fight and this normally gets us past it.

I get kicked from the group's frequently because I believe they are looking for a guildy or friend through the system. As soon as I join I am kicked within 5 seconds. It is annoying but I do not think it is elitist.
