How can you say that with a straight face Kris, you know very well that the groups in the video and the way we play is not comparable.

And never EVER have we chased down some poor guy for miles on end, because that is just sad, cancerous, and it encourages more zerging which is precisely what we hate.

Because Kris has a consistent posting history of being able to comprehend perspective (s)he does not adhere to. OK, so you do kill soloers you respect. What about the vast majority you don't make such special allowances for? You're a good player and I'l gather many of the players who zerg you down and t-bag have wound up on your kill counter one too many times so they are going to go out of their way to do the same to you. It doesn't matter if it's a false "accomplishment." You constantly deride these people, claim they suck and ruin the game, and have no respect, so you honestly expect them to leave you be?

Also what Ghost and Rylana says makes 100% sense and happens every night. Maybe your group doesn't care that much about objectives, map control, and campaign score, but there are those that do. Or maybe they are simply motivated to win by just saving the keep. When there is 20 enemy siege on Alessia, every second matters and if a skilled 4 man is ganking the backline, the raid just cant send a rez templar to deal with the situation while the rest continue to Alessia. It is most efficient not to underestimate the gankers, completely end the threat/situation quickly, and then proceed to the objective. The irony is that if the raid leader is objective focused, she is most likely yelling in Teamspeak to ignore gankers and small groups.

This video isn't about poking raids and complaining, it's about minding your own business and getting chased far into the wild because reasons.
But the fact that people in here are justifying 24 men raids chasing down 2 people far from any objectives tells me there is absolutely zero hope that this community will get better any time soon.

BC all the negativity from small scalers trying to chnge PVP to fit thier playstyle. It was designed for 24 man raids andlarge scale pvp.

i have beenin raids where certain small scalers have been xalledout to be chased down because of thier comments and attitudes.

i have been on the recieving end as well.

I would rather they delete that set and that skill. Dynamic Ultimate was the #1 tool for fighting outnumbered -- and it required risk to accomplish.

The problem is that some people claim to have the monopoly how how to 'correctly' play this game. Remarkable is that mostly the people pretending to have such a monopoly are also people who are of almost no consequence when it comes to the actual Alliance War. (Which doesn't mean they're bad players, mind you!)

Anyone making an effort to run will get away. The only players that we hunt down are NBs/Sorcs that try to get away from a fight after their friends died.
We play(ed) this game for fun and for "nice fights" - which is mutually exclusive with ganking.

That´s something entirely different than16+ players chasing down four for the sake of ap for several minutes (with horses).

Also nobody is claiming to have a right way to play. But if play and let play (live) is too much to ask and people go out of their way to ruin the fun for others not bothering them i personally despise that.

I on the other hand have stated over and over that I don't really give a *** if I get run over by a loner, a group of 4 or a zerg of 40, since this is just part of Cyrodiil life. I feel sad for 5 to 10 seconds, I respawn, I move on.

There's no honor in open world PvP, there's just friendlies and enemies and enemies must die no matter what.

The problem is the awful performance of the servers, not more and not less.

Why is it such a pain to fight big groups with a small-medium group? Because you simply can't react in time to stuff that is happening. Why are gankers so annoying at times? Because people tend to suffer from 1s delays, favouring burst specs. Why do people pile up in only a few keeps at a time? Because there is not a single reason to go elsewhere - no side objectives, no players, but you have to ride for ages to get anywhere.

The lag removes the fun and the skill advantage some groups (might) have over others. And sorry, the groups in your video - what do you expect, send them in one by one? Get real. You choose to play heavily outnumbered, so stop complaining.

Unfortunately the lag, much like some people's attitudes, is beyond saving.

The only modicum of hope is with the campaign resets in the next 48 hours in the EU that players from all 3 alliances will spread out over the 4 CP campaigns, or 3 30 day CP campaigns so that the lag will be more bearable on all campaigns instead of horrendous on 1/2 and non-existent on the rest.

and there lies the problem that you think it is different. It absolutely is not. If you are attacking someone four to one that's 4 to 1 odds. if 16 are attacking four that's also 4 to 1 odds it doesn't matter.

Players who think they are or are at that caliber of a player should be trying to take on more numbers. not less. unless some tbags you or such there is zero reason to attack the soloer.

unless one thung. you are killing reinforcements. and IF thats the case then absolutely a full raid should wipe you. we need everybody at sieges for success. and you are standing in the way.

the only thing i agree on is chasing them half way across map is crazy. unless they are one of the "proffessional" gamer streamers that are constantly bashing large scale players publicly. as if they are superior in some way.

Well you are ruining fun for others. just like u said others do to you.

some players are just not that good. and they just want to fight at the keep, the actual objective. and they are not geared to fight small scale and you still attack them in reinforcement lines because you are searching for small fights.

so expect when that gets called out in zone you will be searched out.

so on to others as you want done to you. you want small scale? seek out others of like mind and go find another place to fight.

othewise you are fair game for your actions.

I have no problem with my reading comprehension, I just try to forcibly overlook the fact that you seem to be agitated because some group chased you down, killed and then teabagged you. Now one might rightfully say it's childish and silly to teabag someone, especially in a situation like this, but I think it's at least equally sad that you can get so agitated about it.

Its the circle of life.

Everyone tryhards someone, Been chased all over the map with a medium sized group by 2 raids so many times. If i get tryharded when im groupless or a couple of us i just equip my most annoying skills or relog to a bomb char and have a little play with them. We personally kill anything that looks aggressive towards us, My guys can vouch for me screaming at people who dont respect the 'peace jump'

Maybe people are starved of PvP so much, I know when i go deep into enemy territory it's a bit tedious because people only want to play in that silly line of zerg lag.

People used to be a lot more friendlier, i uploaded this clip from 1.5 where we was 3 opposite faction players just pass each other with respect to each other, Nowa days this clip would be a 24 man zerg crap killing the roamers.

With the ability of small bomb groups to wipe large raids or gank appart our rear while in combat with other large raids forces us to kill as many small man group as possible on the way to our next objective. I would love to leave small groups alone. I would happily just push to our next objective and fight the groups our size. But if we leave small groups unattended then it can be fatal.

I agree the game used to be more friendly. a lot of us are a bit salty about the current state of the game and any civility between raids is mostly drama. There is so much petty drama and bickering about what playstyles is morally superior. So much of that would be fixed with a lag free working as intended game.

Why is everyone bringing up the fact he killed a loner with a group of 4? That's completely irrelevant to the point of the video. I'd praise the gods if I got in a 4v1 in Cyro, just another shadowplay waiting to happen. A 24v4 however, you can't do anything against it, nothing, no matter what you do you will not come out of that situation a winner (unless you have VD, ya never know), you can get away and not lose, but there's no fun in that.

Nothing wrong with it. but you and Aetch use to destroy soloers. Just stating everyone will kill regardless of how many they outnumber even if the other player is not interested at all in fighting you two and just wants ti get to the keep fight.

I play solo 99.99% of the time. Forgive me if there was ever a moment where I grouped up and happened to outnumber an opponent.

Nothing wrong with it. but you and Aetch use to destroy soloers. Just stating everyone will kill regardless of how many they outnumber even if the other player is not interested at all in fighting you two and just wants ti get to the keep fight.

I'm not buying the Sypher part.

The dude goes out of his way to leave so many people alone. If you don't attack him, he just leaves you alone. He does this better than anyone else in-game.

I really don't care what you're buying. I am speaking from experience as well as observing it he used to do it to me all the time

I've had some great fights with him. Other times he jumps me while I have guards on me instead of waiting the 10sec it takes me to disengage.... That's pretty &^%$&^% crappy. Go ahead and fanboi though, gotta have something in your life.
