Can darkflare be dodged ?

Well as th titel say,s . since the new dmg nr finaly arrived for console i saw some unexpected things . I noticed some hard to kill players in arena district so i kept trying . Normaly i do between 6k to 23k max dmg with my darkflare , depending my buffs and there deffence build . but this player (a sorc ) dodged 3 out of 4 attacks , the 1 that did hit did 6 dmg only 6 not 6 k but 6. I was suprised . i did an unltimate dawnbreaker of smiting on the same player i saw the inpact infront of him and it said "missed " i understand you need aim but if there is no enemy and you do ulti it does not say missed . Now i hope i am just a big noob and need to learn some more but it feels fishy . Can zos or anybody enlighten me on this . ? i recorded the first 1 .

First off, please write in multiple paragraphs. Typing a single wall of text is very hard to see and most people don't want to read through it.
To answer your question, dark flare is one of the easiest attacks to dodge as it has both a long cast time and long travel time. Most attacks in the game can be dodged by a simple roll. Some exceptions are meteor and velocious curse.Bosmer Stamina NB

✭Might as well put this out there-- but Dark Flare can also be interrupted. So as a Templar its important for us to be able to respond smartly to the counters DF has with setups and use sneaky shenanigans to get us to land a hit cleanly.0 -

It doesn't hit you, you don't get dmg.
