Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.

1. Been told it was fixed several times, means nothing
2. 100% getting nerfed next patch
3. We didn't ask for a damage increase, we asked for a chance to proc like frags. Not only can you HEAR it coming you can easily see it, reflect it, block it and interrupt it. Insta-frag is hard AF to see coming.2 -

As other said, it was promised many, many times before.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Never had an issue with Toppling Charge in PvE.
However any improvements to Templars is a good thing.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I have multiple characters but yes I main a NB. I'll just bash you out of your RD because, unlike your failing charge, my ambush works just fine in getting me in your face quickly.
However, I feel as though I should elaborate on my hatred for the Templar. Since I play Argonian, I have forever been pestered to be a Templar. So, begrudgingly, I created 1. I hated every single minute of it. From buggy skills (Fail charge being my biggest offender when I tried tanking) to slow skills (every skill with a cast time), to more or less being forced to puncturing sweep spam as 90% of my dps rotation, I had 0 fun as a templar regardless of role I pursued. At this point, he's at VR1 and now is a pack mule alt more than anything and probably will remain there for as long as I need him to carry stuff. You sit up there, blast people when they're vulnerable, and wait for your thinly built walls to crumble under the weight of multiple proxy det synced gap closers.

Might be nice not to zig zag to mobs too. Breaks my EMURSIUN.
But really, breaking all gap closers was a blessing for templars because if ever I think we have the biggest chance of seeing change now.2 -

✭Jesus beam working as intended is actually making me consider quiting. I'm sorry but on my DK I can't survive a 15-16k ticket when I'm at 7k health. DK can't dodge, break it, or purge it. Its the only execute I cannot dodge on my DK which is some bull. Good one. Somehow I doubt this will be any different from the last 50-something times we've been told it works.
Radiant Destruction being good again? Jesus Beam nerf incoming then. Always happens. Curious that.
Dark Flare being stronger doesn't really mean much. It is still a very slow skill. People wanted a Crystal Frag equivalent proc chance.
Of course, the Templar's House is still rather unimpressive. I'd rather camp out in the Sorcerer House, if I wanted to survive.1 -

I agree about the teleports and cheating into everything, but we already have dks and nightblades doing that. To be fair, alcasts build was a glass cannon. You can see in his video he almost gets killed by a few shots from a bow user. I think the idea is to balance out templars lackluster houses with beefy armor and still have okay damage, but of course there will be clever builds that stack the excess damage on damage on damage. You just need to chain him in and swipe at him problem solved.
My templar is armor focused healer... i find the average dps of some skills nice. Recently i have been able to put pressure back on attackers. Before the patch i was lucky if i could spam bol long enough to get away or find my group to protect me.
I agree, dark flare is too slow @Tdroid but i think alcast uses it well. Opening with it from range is a clever strategy... Though the three shot might be a bit much 0 -
