Magicka to Spell Damage Ratio?

I read online it's like 10.45 mana = 1 spell damage. Is this still accurate?
PvP needs more love.

    There is quite a bit that goes into the damage calculations and magic resources, this is just the base to start with. See the following for all the things that can affect your damage output. And, don't let your eyes bleed too much when looking at all the math

    So, while the 10.46 per spell damage is the base, take into account the modifiers when your theory crafting

    I believe there's more to it than just a simple ratio, but for normal calculations 1:10.46 should suffice.

    Keep in mind the *average* ratio is around 10.5 for *most* skills. Some skills, however, are more dependent on Magicka, spell power, or health in some cases. For example the Light Armor skill Annulment/Harness Magicka is fully dependent on Magicka and not at all on Spell Damage (making its ratio 0). The Templar skill Backlash acts in a similar manner. Most shields are fully dependent on Health and nothing else. The Sorcerer Daedric Mines/Minefield's ratio is 20 for some reason, meaning it depends on Spell Power twice as much as other spells.

    We've been working on a skill coefficient database here based on @Asayre's excellent theory crafting which has good coefficients and ratios for most skills.

    Using crystal frags - if my spell damage is 3700 does that equate to 38813 max magica to get the same damage?

    I've actually calculated the ability coefficients for every ability in game for 2.3 launch on pts. Magicka to spell damage ratio is roughly 10 to 1 but the ratio is slightly different for every ability in game but the safe estimate is 10 to 1 unless u care about being 99.99% right like me.

    That was crystal frags level 4. I am going to look at it tonight and see how accurate it still is.

    @Waffennacht I have not published my numbers atm. I am currently working on a crazy indepth interactive nature to all buffs, abiltiies and champion system math in the game. I've been trying to complete all of it before I publish. However I am also finding so many less people appreciating the indepth write ups i've done in the past. I am currently finding it not worth the effort to format and publish for the community and recently just share closer to my friends.

    If you are looking for a equation for a specific ability or two though i'll be happy to post the linear trend line i have for it.

    It did take the entire month of Feburary to do this experiment and the formatting would be an absolute pain.

    @Waffennacht many of my values looking at @Kuratius post and many of my numbers are actually very very similar. I disagree with a few of the Intercept values but that is only a 1 to 5 number difference in a several thousand damage output. the UESP are a great source of information and is decently formatted.
