Not it will not be. The game will automatically start looking through your files once an update is available. Even if you don't play it often it is always good to open the launcher to have it check for updates and hot fixes. My friend went through this same process and I told him to simply leave it be and stop reinstalling all the times. Every time he did this he would have to leave it on overnight to download and install. So he just let it be and occasionally open up the launcher and let it do it's thing.
