Can we get Australian servers instead of japanese and a free server switch please Australia has one of the most poor performing internet services in the world. I havent met a Australian thats cleared vma yet. If i move to a very particular few places and pay $200 a month maybe then i can get lower latency 250 maybe? Azure is a bad design and makes it jump violently depending on where it directs me. Any japan has much higher performing net then us and it will be hardly any ping. Either that or give australian a pick at a maelstrrom weapon. Lel as if that would happen.

    Yeh I tried both US sits on around 240-260 and EU is around 320-360 outside Cyrodiil lag lol.

    Edit: Also EU hampster has a heart condition it seems =D

    Dude i am fed up with this its unfair for Australians. I cant get maelstrom weapons. Great power locked behind stupid hard laggy content. I watch my American friends stream it and they watch me they rekon i play on nightmare mode.

    South American players have it bad too, don't complain.

    Also, if they ever decide to add a new server, it would be in Asia.
    MAYBE it could improve Australian ping, but then again they'd be in a server with chienese, japanese, indian, russian AND english speakers. Not the most optimal international multiplayer

    Also, PING / Latency is related to the DISTANCE, not internet connection directly, Yes a good internet connection will have better 'travel routes' and whatnot, even some WTFast or similar programs might help, but still, i have a very good internet connection, but i still play with the same ping (170~200 in a good day) as my fellow brazillian peeps. Even when my webz, and pc (except my vid card) are in average superior ; So, an australian server would still be the go to choice of many asians, and Zeni would rather cather to Japan's market than to Australia's

    I know but when i ping test the xbox server it goes in spikes of 900 only on eso. Is that what you get?

    I would love love a asian server at least it would be better for Australians internet working with azure and we would have good connection

    And i think this game would do horrible in japan tbh. And i still fail to see why they make solo content run completely from server on console you cant bot on console.

    I have nbn dude its not the problem its that when the xbox connects to azure you get the default 280 pi g to America plus the azure going crazy pinging to all other servers. I have made it to round seven but the problem is the ping suck so much it seems im dying to poison before i have been warned i am poisoned and the red even touches me and I instantly die from 29k damage that has been on me for 1milisecond when i watch my american friends play and i can see the 5 k ticks on them and how they have time to cleanse. I pretty much have to do a flawless run every time making sure i stand well away from everything and if red touches me i have to ensure i heal my self for next 2.5-3 second because I generally just drop dead even tho i had rally and vigor or mutagen and ward and dodged rolled the boulder

    As much as you would wish for it, I doubt very seriously that you will see a Aussie ESO server cluster :) Perhaps if everyone in Australia started to play the game perhaps, but probably not enough market otherwise. I think the best you can do is perhaps the Japan megaserver if that comes online.

    well i hope they give me a free transfer. After 6 vets i dont wanna make a new one and grind to 501cp again.

    Australia is more than twice the distance from the US than Brazil, you cannot compare the two.

    ZOS has already said they are opening a Japanese server, if i had more confidence in ZOS id consider moving to the Japanese server but the way things are going I dont see ZOS fixing any of the major issues with this game and there is no way the asian market will accept an MMO with quartely updates that completely break the game and change the meta. the Japanese server will be a ghost town.

    Vet Maelstrom is already pretty much undo'able when the ping is over 120; That was OP's major concern here, i believe.
    Be it on São Paulo with a Ping a 180, or Sidney with a Ping of 230, you're already screw'd.
    And From Australia to Japan i don't see the ping being lower than 150 still, sooo No difference for aussies.

    Yes!! My point exactly its solo content why should it be server based. We have no bots on console so why cant we get the solo content to boot from console

    Hahaah well i know i am one of 3 aussies in ep and i have met 2 in ad and 1 in dc. I think the rest left when they figured out the lag problem. I know all of my aussie friends left after orsinium release.

    Uhmmm.... Valid concern but demanding aus servers is like...

    Buys food from overseas F&B outlet.
    Complains food isnt fresh when it gets delivered to me.
    Demand that F&B company open a branch in the country I live in.

    Dosent seem reasonable right? Opening up servers for a particular country is prolly an expensive investment that developers would need to compare the cost to benefit ratio...

    Also for the record, I play from Singapore and although we have good internet, I am forced to play on EU/NA servers for almost all my games. I wouldnt demand companies open up an SEA server though some Asian mmos do have asian servers. I just take it in my stride.

    Also ^. Yeah I love aussies too hahahah. Thyre pretty easy going people with funny banter lol. + aussies share the same timezone as me.. GMT+8 or close to it I think.

    You must be a troll or live right next to the node and only get 280 ping flat. Im in queensland and internet is poor. I have nbn and everything

    Do you mind sharing what class/build you completed it with? Im using stam dk with 300 ping average and I can't get past stage 6 due to lighting aoe hitting me even after I move out of red circles.

    Im from WA and have finished maelstrom plenty of times, with 260-300 ping. You just need to have the right build and alot of patience/skill. Its harder with higher ping for sure but you can complete it easy once you get the mechanics down. Also sorc=easy mode in vma

    I agree with your statement..AU servers would be nice but looks unlikely
