Is it just me or are you underwhelmed by the thieves guild dlc?

I mean imperial city was the first dlc (console) so I was well up for playing it. The story line was okay ish and the sewers and arena offered a new pvp place that wasn't running 50 miles to capture a keep or get ganked by nighblades.
Orsinium is pretty big and the story line was decent in my opinion with daily bosses and all things of that nature.

Thives guild I just haven't wanted to play you know. I did the first quest to get into hews bane and was like oh, that's it! Maybe it is just me I don't now but what you think?

Not really. I was expecting a small zone focused on the Thieves Guild, stealing stuff, and that is pretty much what it is.

While we are on the subject of DLC expectations, I expect that Dark Brotherhood will be a smallish zone, a little larger than Hew's Bane, focused on the Dark Brotherhood, killing NPCs across Tamriel for profit and fun.

I really like Hew's Bane and Maw of Lorkhaj. The new bugs and performance issues have really underwhelmed me though....

Not done more than a handful of quests there. I think I'm still at rank 3 with TG. But then again, this is not supposed to be a full featured expansion, it's a small, and was advertised as such, DLC that adds a new gameplay mechanic into the mix and a new guild.
Although I still think TG should've been there since the start, DB as well, but hey... Can't have it all I guess. The concept will probably be expanded on in future and Bigger DLC's (like Orsinium sized ones). This one is more like a introduction to the new system more than anything else.
I am not doing anything in TG, but then again, I didn't expect anything much either because I was already prepared for the fact it's more of a small gapfiller DLC between big ones, and anyone who expected more... Well.. Don't. It's not supposed to be "more" - it is what it is.

I'm just happy we got a new trial after a year and a half, thankfully it is good. I'm not the type of player who cares at all for the questing in any DLC.

Thieves Guild isn't my preferred play style, so I don't care for it all that much. I don't have the patience to sit around waiting for guards to move - I would much rather go in there and kill everything. But I imagine that those who like that kind of thing are probably enjoying it, as it seems to be fairly well done for what it is. The other thing I don't like about it is that, since you aren't killing stuff and getting through the quests quickly, I am not gaining CP as fast as I could in other areas. Since I am not at cap on CP, I am kind of holding off on doing much in that area until I reach cap.

However, I do like the new trial, and am very glad to see them introduce at least some WoW type mechanics in the fights. They even have a tank swap mechanic on one of the bosses, which is a step in the right direction for making tanking more interesting. Hopefully they will continue with adding those types of mechanics, because that makes the fight much more interactive and fun for all roles. Now if they would make trials have like 10 bosses and add more WoW type mechanics, then this game might finally have some worthy end game.
