What is "Pact" Motif?

So Im in Abah's Landing's Thiefs guild and browsing "Lighting" guilds stuff on PS4 EU and theres item called "Crafting Motifs 27, Chapter 11: Pact Shields" for 50k. Is this for real? or some bug/duping thing?

It's the new Alliance Style motif ... It's in the Thieves Guild DLC patch notes ...

You loot your alliance's motif pages from chests in IC and IC Sewers. There are Pact, Dominion, and Covenant styles.

They drop in chests of any difficulty (Simple and up), though the harder ones drop them more often. Last night I looted three in a row from the reward chest in the middle of the Arena district.

It's been nearly three weeks of the DLC being out on PC ... so, now we're getting into the cross-selling phase of players bringing in the other Alliance motifs to trade or sell. For example, one player on PC NA DC was advertising in Wrothgar to trade his Pact motifs for DC ones.

Love the pact 2h swords. Im yet to see one being sold tho. In a month or so they should be more common and drop in price tho so Ill get one then.

Here's when I completed the 7 light pieces of robed Pact armour. I don't have any medium or heavy made, though I can make them. The staff is also Pact staves.

Staff's pretty cool. Personaly I always visit nirn.de/forum/index.php/topic,29726.0.html and nirn.de/forum/index.php/topic,29726.0.html if I want to see how motifs look. Its in german but its so much more convenient than ESO fashion even if you dont know the language. Everything's on one page sorted and organized. And the german motif names arent that far off from english ones. If in doubt google will translate things for you.

the motifs are new, the actual gear appearance is not. I had the Pact helm a while back, was a piece of the Black Rose set from IC that I had bought from a guild store. Got plenty of whispers and ooh la la's. x)
