Is it worth trying to get my alts to VR16 or should I just get them to VR1 and wait ?

All my alts are lvl 24 atm

    how the hell am i supposed to know?!

    actually from what i heard their gonna convert the v16s to something of equivalent power. so maybe.

    You got to ask yourself that if you get them to vr1 and wait, are you willing to wait 3 months (at the earliest) to play them at v16?

    All your xp will be pooled into champion points. So if you have the cap now (501 i believe) then all your characters will be max level. If you are not capped already why not play them earn all the cp you can before the switch.

    I heard you need at least 160 CP total on your account to equip VR16 weapons and armor so if you stop at VR1 and have no Champion Points you can only wear VR1 weapons and armor. If you do already have enough CP, then yeah you can stop all your alts at VR1 and blow through the rest of the content doing overpowered damage, one-shotting everything.

    He has 2 VR 16s already Im assuming he has more than 160cp.

    I would focus on grinding out skyshards.
    Make a 10 piece set at vet 1 and your stats can be better than at 16.

    Do NOT make that vet 1 gear epic or legendary...

    The VR16 gear will still be max lvl when they fall away but VR1 will not scale up



    EDIT: For clarification
    What I mean by this is it will not be max lvl gear (material & stat wise)
