Hello everyone,

Our Cyrodiil performance is something we are very aware of. Performance drags when there are numerous players in the same place at the same time. This is why performance in Cyrodiil is fine for much of the day, but gets worse during more popular times. We are currently investigating ways in which we can reduce the spike of performance loss. We added in some features for Update 6 which we hoped would help, but ultimately did not. This is not a situation where we can just add more hardware. Player population in a given area hurts the performance and the more people that are in one area, the more performance is going to be hurt.

Actively, we are looking at changing the behavior of the players to remove incentives for large groups to stay in the same area. We want to do this by providing larger incentives for Alliances to split up and take on multiple-challenges in Cyrodiil. We’ll continue to work on this. We are also asked by players if there is anything they can do to help. In this situation, the best thing you can do is split off to different objectives when you notice performance going down. Cyrodiil is a big place with lots of different things to do. And thank you for asking.

I noticed this today and I would really like you to share your personal experience of last years changes.
Please remember everyone has their own viewpoint, so be nice!

For myself overall performance in cyrodiil has been notably decreasing during the last year. I have less trouble with bugged doors, or the grouping tool. My PvP experience, however, is now at constant lag while doing anything in Cyrodiil, the occurence of loading screens increased and sometimes i am disconnected and thrown out of the game al together. NPCs sometimes use very strong invisability potions and most of the players are shadows for prolonged times. My horse refuses to come when called and my char refuses to wear her costume since last patch.

When i read the general disscussions I have the impression i am not alone with the issues stated above, however, its easy to nag when something is wrong and i think its hard to set priorities to the number of issues i named.

So, pls let us (the players) as well as ZOS know, what are your issues ?
What is the issue you feel the most gamebreaking?
How do you feel after one year of ongoing war against the lag-beast?

Thank you, and have a great day!

My favorite moment was when they presented data from all zones in their attempt to blame player hardware for their poorly built game. Latency and frame drops are never an issue for me outside of Cyrodiil. Why even include the combined data? I did appreciate their transparency in showing data but it wasn't impactful. If anything it showed either a disrespect for the community's competence believing we'd take that as truth or a severe disconnect with the reality of their game.

I don't really lag much at all in cyrodiil so I don't get all these lag issues people have. maybe its im on console and great internet so I don't get as bad of lag as some pc user running 27 programs and cyrodiil ;)
