GW2 do this fairly well. Your health scales to whichever level zone you enter. Of course, top level weapons & experience still make life easy.

I found that got incredibly annoying after a while in GW2. You never really felt "stronger" anywhere you went and no matter what gear you had. Was like you were a fresh level 1 every time you went back to a lower level zone. It's been a while since I played the game though so maybe it's better now.

I found that got incredibly annoying after a while in GW2. You never really felt "stronger" anywhere you went and no matter what gear you had from what I recall. Was like you were a fresh level 1 every time you went back to a lower level zone. It's been a while since I played the game though so my memory is a bit foggy of on the finer points in that system.

what i'm talking about is the option to scale your own level down to any level you've already passed. i played an mmo that did this extremely successfully.

OP, There should be plenty of challenges ahead of you. A lot of us didn't complete every single lower level quests either. Besides the dolmen achievement, was there another reason to going back to lower zones?
They do scale the newer zones and dungeons now too. This should fill your needs a little.
