Can't seem to get a dungeon run?

For the last two nights I have been queuing for the daily normal pledge, and nothing! I mean I have been qued for hours. I wonder does it have to do with the fact I am mostly running dps?
I never had this issue until TG hit, am I alone in this?

Exactly the same problem with me. Except for one exception the other day, where I got a dungeon for silver instantly, every other night I've been in queue for up to 10 hours before giving up.

Basically, 99% of people thinkthemselves dps.

If you que on your healer or tank you get games within minutes, in most cases, even seconds.

I was today 3 hour in queue for Cyrodil and nothing. I simply cant understand why cant they take my suggestions. For Cyrodil, let players hire NPCs, player can put them in the safe zone, others can join via them. For PVE, Request System, player can put Requests, it blinks on everybodys UI, those who help get reward, works for low level to endgame flawlessly. My ideas are the best as always.

Population seems to have taken a hit on PC at least. Notice alot less people in the major cities in the last 3 weeks wich doesn't help que times.

Not saying you're not doing this but first...
go into the group setting and select normal (while not in queue)
Then go out of that and select the role and any rather than one specific dungeon....

You may not get the one you want but you will know if you have some bug keeping you out of the queue.....
Then from there, you may want to stand outside of the Undaunted quest givers for groups as with the changes, many still prefer manual groups which will cause you not to find a group using a specific dungeon filter.

    Good luck

Alliance que has never worked man. It was there way way before the thieves guild.

Thats my point. I played some more, it seems it works or then somebody invited me manually. At least they should let us be leaders if we want and form a new raid.

Yeah something is definitely up with the grouping tools. They must be trying to hard to match up levels or something.
The other issue is that often these people are not in Group chat so it makes completing the runs much more difficult.
Honestly at this point this matchmaking system seems to be a step backward. As a healer my queue times are way up.

ALSO there should be a V16 only matchmaking selection to get rid of the noobs that eventually get kicked anyway.

I've had similar shoddy luck with group finder the past 2 days also....but I have a theory. Looking down over my friends list, 85% or more are somewhere in Hew's Bane.... My guess, most people want to play the new content and aren't all that interested in running the same dungeon again at the moment. I could be wrong, and something could be a bit broken...just what I've chalked it up to.

Hasn't worked worth mentioning since TG.

Still irritated they took away the whole, "queue as a group, invite a friend to fill group and get scaled" thing.

    I just spam Zone.
Wake up, we're here. Why are you shaking? Are you ok? Wake up...

Sorry man, but population is NOT booming on PS4. There is a small 1-2 week period of slightly higher population when a DLC releases. It is because old players are trying out the DLC and seeing if the lag is fixed in Cyrodiil along with certain annoying bugs.

They have returned to a (console) ESO that has newfound FPS drops, even more lag, and new ways to promote unfair gameplay in Cyrodiil which they won't know how to deal with and get angry at. (Ex. Viscious+Alchemist--> Proxy+Soul Tether+Sap Essence)

I have noticed a handful of long-time players leave with this patch, my own friends who have played every day since it released on PS4. Sure, there are some great improvements with this patch but most players have either permanently left or have gone until performance/game-breaking bugs are fixed. Hence, the emptiness of campaigns even after a DLC release/removal of most servers.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I really hate to say these things about ESO, but you have to purposely avoid the truth to not see this. Since it is an MMO this game will maintain many of its long time players due to their time investment but $$$ would roll in at 10x the pace if performance/reputation was mended and non-invested players rejoined.

EDIT: Correction! There's a surge of players in PvP tonight! Two servers only had one bar so far but tonight most are full though there aren't many servers even left. I hope that it isn't a part of the typical DLC player increase but we will see.

Well to the OP if you're on xbox one and use a Mic, guild I'm in could help you out.

What annoys me most with group finder since thieves guild is now even if you are a full group of 4 and choose the random dungeon it can take up to 10 minutes of us all "queuing" before it loads us in.

Two active Cyrodil Campaign even during mornings means something, before TG we had one active Campaign and that was after Noon.

@Sausage They've compacted the players into less campaigns and a very popular DLC released this same week. It would mean something if there were two pop-capped campaigns throughout the entire day with queues of over 100 during primetime. For reference, I saw 100-200 queues on one campaign when Orsinium launched and for awhile afterward, and 300+ when ESO launched on multiple campaigns.

I signed in at 1:00am tonight and (although late) only saw one server with a population of one bar per two active alliances. All other campaigns empty or one bar. This is 3-4 days after DLC launched which is frighteningly bad, and shows that people aren't going crazy over the lag/stutters/audio glitches/fps of 1-15 in large Cyrodiil fights. Most games on console provide 30fps-60fps solid and aren't experiencing performance problems which Devs selectively neglect.

Tells me that the people filling these campaigns are DLC-time players. Believe me, the easy AP is nice but players on console don't deal with bad performance, we just play another game. I only have interest in this game because ELDER SCROLLS!
