Should the Cyrodiil buff add 30k HP?

How tanking is impossible? I see strong tanks in every fight, they get targeted by 10+ people and they still stand very, very long. Some seem to be unkillable. Other than tanks, I see people who die after 3 crushing shocks - vr16! How that happens is beyond me. More than half though has a decent build and it takes a while to kill them. If half the players can somehow manage to not get insta-killed 1v1, it's not the problem with hp and 30hp is surely not needed.

EDIT: Sorry for my bitterness here, I'm a sour human being recently. I'll shut up for good now.

The reason health is so low is because no one would die with higher hp. The amount of heals and shields that can be spammed is so ridiculous.

OP probably has a good chance to be recruited in the zos team, if that's the kind of idea he has to fix Cyrodiil

30k seems way too much. Id rather they made it so every ability point spent in health counted for 50% more then they do atm. That way if you built your char for more health it had bigger impact.

30k hp flat is only a 4,500 shield, 50,000 hp would be a 7,500 shield, in both cases a Sorcs shield is still much better. You would need 70k HP on a Templar to see shield numbers close to a Sorcs.

If they added a flat 30k HP to everyone they would have to tweak battle spirit dmg/healing ratios.

Drop the 5k hp from battle spirit and give +25% HP might be a better idea, at 20k hp this would equal the current +5k hp. Everyone with over 20k HP would gain a bigger bonus.

I'd say increase mitigation & reduced regens/resource generating abilities. Try to raise/lower both around 50% and see if the burst damage builds are as effective, while avoid making tanky builds unkillable.

People are already complaining about 11k hardened ward, how do you think they will react when they see the first 20k blazing shield?

I think you should check your math, there's no way a 30k increase in health would equal a 20k blazing shield in PvP.

You can already go for more than 60k hp, 30k increased by all the percentages passives and you're over 100k hp. Means a 16k blazing shield + 25% from bastion and here you have your 20k. ;) not to mention every group would run with at least 1 full hp dk build spamming an igneous shield with the same value than the barrier of a dd...

We have a guy in our guild with a templar build that already runs 60k health with an 11k blazing shield in Cyrodiil, 20k is probably a bit under value...

What do you guys do in Cyrodiil? I have 23k health after the buff and get 1 shotted like twice a week tops. There are dozens of ways to survive. Try moving laterally, or jumping. Do you know how many keep seiges I've survived by jumping off the top wall? Use an invisibilty potion or something. Mist form works great for me too.

There are a ton of ways to get your desired effect. Just stop trying to CHANGE THE GAME and instead CHANGE YOUR GAME.

Fights already last too long when two tanky builds collide. With that much more health its possible to have fights that NEVER end (unless you're playing on non-CP) and that is not an exaggeration.

30k more health? I'd be rolling up a tanking blazing shield templar and having some laughs. Seriously though, do you not like anyone dying in pvp unless completely zerged to death?

I know its difficult enough to get their shields down without then getting through 30k HP before they get more shields back up and starting all over again (I'm not talking about what attribute their shields scales off of if that's what you mean? ).

This is now a social experiment. How many people actually read a thread vs. just skip all that mumbo-jumbo and write thier own opinion including flames and condescension?

8 out of 10 ppl on these forums read a title then flame thus far.

The thread is dead. I cannot delete it. There are issues w/ this idea we have uncovered already. The point is still valid imo, there will be better gameplay if some sort of balance is struck between tooltips and health thats better than what we have now, and it would not be a tricky fix to implement.

    TTK is too low.

Everyone will get this 30k of health, so it will not change anything in balance, moreover tanking builds will have no chance after glass canons, just because they will not have enough damage output to damage over HW+Harness+30k HP

That's a hilariously stupid suggestion, I'm all for increasing battle spirit a bit but it would have to scale with a person's max health to be fair, and I don't actually know how it works exactly (never bothered to find out) but if it doesn't scale off max health already then I think it should, offering glass cannons so much free health without any need to spec for it is preposterous and I can't imagine how anyone could ever have thought that made any kind of sense at all.

And also if you had any changes to your idea, which I see now you agreed in a later post that it should scale off health, then you should edit your OP to reflect that change, I may read the OP but I've got better things to do than scour every thread for every post the OP makes in case they change their mind about something.

No they should remove health gains all together and force people to at least run healthy jewelry and 10 points into health
