I love ESO! It's the best MMORPG I have played, and the only one I've dedicated substantial time to even though my real life friends aren't playing. There's lots of reasons it's awesome:

    Beautiful world
    Lovely sunrays
    The world reacts to you
    NPCs move around
Unlimited fast travel to convenient locations
    Everyone can rez
    Everyone can heal
    Everyone can craft
    Great story telling
    Beautiful music
    Addon support

And I'm sure there's more I could think of. All in all, great job ZOS!

Thanks @Dagonthir for leaving a positive post here!

I'm happy that even though I've been playing semi-regularly since about 2 months after console release, I still have not yet explored all the content.

I have to agree. I haven't played anywhere near that long, but just the feeling of knowing I still have SO much to do still makes me feel so happy playing this game. Especially when all I want to do is trials and PVP. I know when I get tired of that I still have so much I can do :)

I know its hard! This happens to many MMOS when new content comes out. It should be back up, never really is down for TOO long.

I love the storylines and the "hidden" back stories you find if you read every scrap of paper you find. It reminds me of reading Cicero's journal in Skyrim and seeing his descent into madness. Lots of letters, books and scrolls, including some funny ones near skeletons. Makes me wish there was a PDF of every writing to download somewhere like there was for Skyrim (which ended up being 1000+ pages).

I am new to the MMO experience and maybe ESO should not have called it an MMO,.

They didn't. It's been marketed as an "MMORPG" which I think pretty much does describe it.

I like.... the kitty pet, and the fact that it's clearly the same one that roams around IC

    I like ... un-killable guards (go Justice!).

I like ... the way the fennic fox's ear twitches
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

You pretty much described why I like TES series. Finding random bits of lore adds a bit of world-building and makes it feel more "real".

It's not uncommon to see my character standing by the bookshelves reading.

The quests. At the core of the game, it's actually fun. The combat system is a blast, even more with friends down in the sewers or in a vet dungeon.

Small scale PVP is fun, despite ZOS' best attempts to ruin it.

The story and lore are amazing.

The graphics are great, especially the huge landscapes.

The main thing I like about this game is I dont feel Im doing busy work just to level up. No hey got kill 10 of this. Hey now kill 10 of that. Those kind of quests annoy me. ESO is different tho. You are part of a main story right away. Your actions have consequences and you get into the story right away. That and having everything voiced is also a big plus in my book. Im willing to overlook bugs if the story is good.

You mean the other 100+ threads aren't enough, there can't be one thread for people who want to share positive experiences and what we like about the game?

I've been in since beta and am ingame daily. Family and friends join me at times.
