My Rift arrives next month so I'm keen to begin testing software such as this: 
https://youtu.be/_OHWGkaLj-U and as much as I would love native VR support probably a long way off but has anyone seen any simular software for converting DirectX game into VR?

Yes Steam is actually released software currently in beta for the HTC Vive headset that allows you to play any game in your steam library in VR. It's called Steam VR Desktop Theater Mode~ Snowborn ~ Ebonheart Loyals ~

✭I thought Steam VR Desktop Theatre Mode only replicates a full size screen in front of your eyes, it doesn't actually have head tracking in game or have that wrap around full immersion effect, this software seems to tap in the DirectX side of things to bring you into the game.
