Wow lot of mages lol, i almost always play mmo as mage glass cannon style, i usually flop to a assassin type after making a failry high mage sobi decided to flop this eso.
In short my vote is hardly a stable one none the less two classes i always enjoy much!
Nightblades, because several of their class skills have those nifty "psi-blade" animations, and that's the closest I can get to a martial artsy monk...
I have to say for me picking a "favourate" is a very hard thing to do, so I will give some backstory...
I use to play Sorcs, since launch I was a sorc ( I did play DK in beta though ), now given that Sorc was predominantely my "favourate" by right of mere time spent on the class I loved sorcs...
Then I went back to DK & I must say DK's will always have a special place in my heart I love them and they are epic and very fun to play.
Never really got into the Templar thing...
Nightblades are new to me ( having only recently started leveling Herkulus up to VR2, I now have a new one called Duiwel which is already lvl 40 and I must say the way I play Elder Scrolls games (I always use bows & daggers) I cannot believe that I didn't start with a NB!
This class was made for me, so for the time being Nightblade is the overall king for me
For strictly solo play(pvp), nightblade is the best suited by far, it used to be sorceror, but ZOS keeps nerfing every kiting ability in the game making 1vX harder and harder. They also made combat far too forgiving with the 50% damage reduction in cyrodiil.
I play all classes, and stamina and magicka versions of all but sorc (only magicka sorc for me), and I have to say I love my Templar the most. My magicka Templar at that. I've loved playing magicka Templar since I rolled it last year for BwB and was emp on it. Since then I've leveled another in AD and have been PvPing almost exclusively on it. Idk, people say the class sucks or is weak, but I find it incredibly strong and versatile. It's also the class that I find I can mix up gear combinations to get differing and dynamic results from in PvP. I've played Sorcerer, Dragonkight, and Nightblade through and through, but I lose interest in them when I think about my Templar *.*
Unfortunate magicka warden main. PC/NA Server Fairweather Friends Retired to baby bgs forever. Leave me alone.
I wish DK's both stam and magicka got more love overall. All I see is stealth this and jesus beam that. I'm still wishing DK's got a class execute.
I like my DK the best but I disagree saying that Stam DK got more love .... No actually your overall damage is down 15%-20% with the Change in Hardy... Dragon leap is bugged atm... If you are Weapon Damage DK using drinks (Resource management ) you have lost about 30% of your leap damage due to changes in leap in the last patch. Stamina got nothing unless you are PVE stamina DK... or if you run in the ZERGs
