What should the eventaul cc cap be

Right now the cap is 501ish , it was originally alot more, but some grinders got alot pretty quick and so they set a cap. Right now they plan to slowly up it. How high should the limit be? 600, 1000, no cap? The bright side to a higher cap is it gives players more to aim for, Downside campaigns with cc may (might) get dificult to get into, the catch up helps

What do you guys think?

One concern I have is if 140cp will be the equipment requirement for v14 gear, does that mean every 10 more CP will have better gear? Doesn't work in PvP if I have 140cp gear fighting a Demi God with 3000cp gear

    The max amount that can be collected was and still is, 3600.
    The cap just limits how much can be used at a time. The word right now is they plan to increase the cap by 51 each DLC starting with DB.

    The current 501 + 51/DLC seems all right to me... and I did hit cap last week. Eventually I would like to see them set a max cap at or around 2400... that'd be two thirds of total C-points, and we'd take about ten years to get there with 204 increase per year, so... more then enough advancement possibilities for that one.

    Though personally I think I'd really want more skill lines to enjoy maxing out... from additional weapons to class morphs, from bardic guild to jewelry crafting... but that's a different discussion! ;)

    The CP cap would eventually be 3600 points. They are raising the CP cap by about 51 points per quarter.

    Basically, the system Zos said would take the average player a year (something) to max out will actually take well over a decade to max out. LOL

    The "cc cap" should be at one cc at a time until the cc immunity runs out. I hate to get double cc'ed whilst I should still have cc immunity...totally messed up cc system at the moment.....

    The "cp cap" on the other side: 500 is fine.

    They already broke the system by *** around with the constellations.
    Sure, they can buff things a little if they want (spoiler alert: Critical Leech will always suck), but they've *** around with CP so much now, and will continue to *** with it, to the point where it does not feel like progress anymore.

    It feels like filler episodes in a cartoon that wasn't that great to begin with.

    it unavoidable, if somebody has 2000 cp, they will demand better gear. Its a never-ending rabbit hole.

    Lol. Zos has been notorious for their fabulous planning systems for this game. Remember the touted group finder at launch? Worked like a bag of rocks as a life preserver.

    Equipment scaling to CPs is completely different than the total CPs a player will have. Just because the current cap is 501, and the DB cap will likely be 552, it doesn't mean they need to keep scaling equipment past CP160. I do not think any logical person is going to demand CP500 scaled gear...tho I would concede there are a LOT of illogical people here on the forums.

    That said, I think most players would agree old sets need to scale to CP160 so that we have more build variety and diversity.

    Well, that'd be boring. No thought at all on how allocate your Champion Points, just load 'em up. I'd quit long before 3600. I think 1800 should be the absolute cap, unless they add new lines to the Champion Point System.

    I think playing and accomplishing something jus by playing is great, hence CP, but they need more than linear systems, example Faction reps, weekly challengs

    I think they are on a good pace, perhaps a touch slow. I hope the CP cap is never 3600. It would eliminate all meaningful choices. I think somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3rds of that would make for a good cap at some point down the road. You would still be really powerful, but you would still have to think a little bit about how to allocate your points.

    I think the point of this is to prevent grinding. If you play a lot and are at the cap, you shouldnt have to grind to hit the new cap each patch, which is exactly how it should be. It's one thing to grind to get to max level a little faster, especially on your 2nd or 3rd toon. But I dont believe that killing mobs in Orsinium should do much for a V16 character.
