Group finder scaling - tips?

Before the TG patch dropped, I used the group finder to get dungeons and players scaled to v16 easily. I liked to do this so everyone would get level appropriate loot.

Now it's much more difficult. I can't seem to figure out why the queue won't just pop instantly for a 4-player group with the correct setup, and going straight to the dungeon while in the queue now just results in a normally leader-scaled dungeon. Adding a player while in queue causes the group to drop out of the queue! I want to play with people of different vet levels but this is making it quite frustrating.

Is there a trick to this? Something I'm missing?

    That's a bug.

    We are assuming that's a bug too, but ZOS haven't commented on it.

    That's probably a bug, but I haven't heard that one before. Did the added player break the 2 DPS/1 tank/1 healer setup?

    I /bug reported all of this a week ago, was just hoping someone had found a way around. And yes, the group was the correct composition (with correct roles selected) the entire time. Next time I'm making a group I will probably try messing around with the role selectors.

    It's funny, I was really looking forward to the new group tools :[

    We are having exactly the same issue. Group finder is completely messed up now.
    Roles selected properly and everything ... no more dungeoning with friends that aren't v16 i guess.
    Way to go ZOS on breaking something that was maybe not perfect but at least was working.

    The wonders of group finder continue. Today I queued for a random dungeon and ended up in a level 16 scaled Banished Cells. No loot, but at least I got a very easy 100k experience.

    I queued again; then I got normal Imperial City Prison. One of the players didn't even have access to the DLC. (Their friend was leading the group that queued him; it appears the group finder doesn't bother to check those people.)

    Again today I tried out the group finder with a group of three (healer and tank roles filled).

    Nothing for over 10 minutes, so I just recruited another dps and did it the traditional way.

    Unbeknownst to myself, the leader had queued us for the dungeon. We were probably over 10 minutes into the dungeon when the queue popped and we were forcefully ejected from our current instance and teleported to a fresh one.

    At least it scaled everyone.

    I don't know which dev is working on this stuff, but could you pass it on that it's pretty broken? Or let us know if they're working on it?
