ESO suddenly running at 99% GPU usage?

After the update, ESO was running perfectly fine, no problems. I log out for a bit, log back in, at 13fps on the menu screen. Okay, no cause for worry there as sometimes the game just lags at random for a moment, I get into the game. at 12-14fps in Stormhold, where I was getting about 50-60fps barely 30 minutes prior.

Asus Factory OC'd 750ti
Gigabyte Z68x-UD7-B3 Motherboard
HyperX 16GB 1866mhz CL10 RAM
Stock i7-2600k cpu
Graphics I was playing at prior to the massive FPS loss> High, shadows medium, Below 1080p resolution.
Changed to minimum settings with high sub-sample, 25-35fps. What the hell?

Metamon✭✭✭Seems to have been fixed with a full pc reboot. Monitoring this closely because I have no idea what caused such a drastic drop.0

✭✭✭✭✭I had the same issue - lag already on the character selection screen - randomly - either it was ok or it was all down to 10 fps. Not tested it after today's patch, but I will later when I will be home.0 -

Nah, that can happen as well when you have a freshly rebooted PC and login - it is random - when I relog it can be ok or it can be not - a very weird bug. But like I said, I have not tested it after the new patch yet - was on 32-bit client and 64-bit client.0
