Best order for post 50 content?

roguestrike01ub17_ESO
I recently hit 50 I have all the dlcs and haven't done any of them what would be the best order to tackle the post 50 content? Should I start with silver and gold or should I start with the DLC? If I start with DLC what would be the best order to tackle them? I also haven't done any group content.

Help I am at a loss as what to do next.

If it were me, I'd go ahead with Silver and Gold. Lots of skillpoints in there and also if you play the DLC first you will level out of the mob XP in the regular zones. You still get XP for the quests no matter what.

Unless, of course, you just want to grind to max and don't care about the questing at all.

Not knowing how the scaling works yet in the Silver and Gold scheme*, it may be best to save Wrothgar for when you reach VR12-14. I have taken two alts from VR12 to VR16 just doing the content and some dailies in that zone. Now, if they battle scale the Silver and Gold zones like they do Wrothgar, it may not matter what zones you do next. If that is the case, pick an alliance and do at least the main quests for that alliance in each zone (for skill points and good exp returns) then fill in the side quests as needed or wanted. If they scale the zones then I would do Wrothgar last.

Thieves Guild you can tackle pretty much anytime, so as a diversion to the other content, that is a good thing to do.

*I have 4 VR16s and 4 Mules L5 to L12, well one is getting leveled, but still at L35, so I have not done what you are about to do yet in the new scheme of things.

Thanks Ill do silver and gold first then Wrothgar so should I save IC for last?

What would be a good time to start doing Group Dungeons through the group finder?

Group finder battle scales all dungeons to VR16 so anytime you want.

IC is a PvP zone, although you may not find as much PvP there as the rest of Cyrodiil, it is a factor. So, when you are ready to do PvP, or have a decent sized group to run that place with, go there. I think the mobs are all VR16, I was paying more attention to looking for enemy players than the mobs I was facing the two times I have been there.

Yea PvP is fun even if I die. Is it possible to do the IC story solo and through the group finder I don't really have a guild I play with and I cant really commit to gaming on a schedule like I used to after getting married and having a kid.

Personally I go with Cadwells after the mainstory, then Orsinium, then Thieves Guild... leaving Cyrodil for when I feel like PvPing, Craglorn for when I get some friends together, and IC for when I feel like getting ganked all day long (or some guild zerg decides to go there) ;)

Orsinium with the scaled stuff is good at any level, but gives you the best rewrds if you are in post-cadwells rank - everything else you can get elsewhere as well, but the V15+ stuff is a bit harder to find, and only pops up in scaled zones (wrothgar, cyrodil, hews bane) - if you are at that rank.

Veteran rank wise (for as long as they are around), cadwells will take you to V12-14 these days if you do everything on the map, and Orsinium two more veteran ranks for the initial playthrough. TG is worth another, and anyone who isn't V16 by then still has dailies...

The best with cadwells is of course all the skyshards and quest-dropped skill points, not to mention mages guild books, exploration XP, and so on you will stumble over going through the other alliance zones... and of course, all that decon and research bait loot, making it that much easier to raise your crafting skills in preperation for the scaled nodes of the DLC regions... ;)
