Hello as of Thieves Guild update I cant play this game no more on my laptop. I contacted support and they say I need a new Graphic Card. My question is which Graphic Card should I get. My Laptop is HP EliteBook 8530W and I don't know what GPU can I use.

Please help me select a new Graphic card so I can enjoy this game again. Thank you in advance since I am not too good with knowledge about Laptops I hope you can recommend some GPU´s that can run this game(Just run I don't mean to play it in High sett. or anything I just want to play this game and my budget isn't that great HAHA ! ! !)

    Good luck with this. This laptop is so old I'm not sure a new card can even fit in it.

    The PSU might not be enough to handle a new card. And I'm not sure your chassis allows for an upgrade.

    Your card uses 35w of power. If you can determine if your laptop allows for an upgrade you could get any card that is 35w or less.

    It's impossible to replace/upgrade a laptop gpu, you may as well should get a new laptop or desktop.

    OKEY... I Already quit on that .. I am going to buy a new Laptop but I don't have too much cash so my question is where can I buy good Laptops that are not too expansive.

    amazon and newegg are the places to buy laptops.

    May not be the ultimate cheapest places on the web, but they are two e-stores that will help you after the sale if you need to exchange it without any hassles or issues. Most of the deep discounters out there really suck at after the sale customer service.

    Agree, if you're in US, then newegg or Amazon is your best bet.

    Or you could look for a used one around your local computer stores. I know someone who bought a nice alienware laptop for half the price of a new one. Plays ESO and Fallout 4.

    It's more expensive and comes without windows (you get win7 super cheap everywhere if you don't have a license already) but the CPU is just so much better (which is extremely important for ESO), and the GPU is probably 10 times faster too.

    Note that those 560€ include 19% tax, without it's 470€ = 530$.

    Edit: And just to show why what you linked is overpriced crap:
    In yours the CPU+GPU cost ~125$, that's around 25% of the complete price. In mine CPU+GPU cost ~390$, that would be around 70% of the complete price.

    That's the difference between a decent pre build PC and a overpriced "gaming" money grab.

    Build a desktop pc. Much easier to do upgrades and cheaper than buying a brand name. Just built a perfect starter pc for me son the other day for around 800 not including monitor keyboard and mouse. Cause I gave him my old ones to use for that. He's able to run most games at max settings. Def can't run eso at max settings. Even I don't with the build I have which runs everything but eso on ultra settings cause eso is so unstable.

    If you are gonna buy a gpu I think nvidia gtx 750 ti is highest you can go with your factory motherboard and psu

    I actually just grabbed a PS4 on the 17th. It's nice, but I couldn't see myself starting over in ESO on it. That said, Bloodborne has been a blast.

    I had never built a computer in my life until last year. I spent a few hundred more than @Oh_Skrivva did, but I got new peripherals and monitors, too. SSD, 4gb gpu, 8 gig ram ... and so on. It plays ESO like a dream. And honestly, it wasn't that hard to build. And I know what's in it. And I can do it again.

    There are even websites that will tell you exactly what to buy.

    The hp ProBook uses BGA CPU and GPU which are permanently affixed to the motherboard. Only way to replace the graphics card is by replacing the entire motherboard, and you'd still be limited to the GPU options that came with that model of ProBook back when it was new.

    You can buy a new laptop with quad core processor and Nvidia 965M starting from around $800-900 or so. If that is too much to spend, your only other option would be buying a used gaming laptop or low end desktop. There are some new external GPU enclosures, but they require Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type C) port on the laptop.

    They are a dying breed, but a number of laptops still use MXM connector. These can be replaced. Clevo, MSI, Alienware have some models.

    There are a couple models that can use full desktop GTX 980, hopefully will be upgradeable to the GTX 1080; unfortunately, the retail pricing is well over $2k for these.

    I have bought many computer things there. Bought my Tough Book laptop,new monitors for two of my five PCs,and other things.All work fine.
    OR,..you can goto Good Egg.They always seem to have good prices.
