[Bug?] Toggled Ability Changes / Expert Hunter/ Magelight / Dragon Knight Inferno

Yo!

I was somehow under the impression you were only supposed to need these skills slotted on one bar to gain their slotted bonus, but weapon swapping to the other bar you loose it. Is this intended? So you still need them on both bars? Kind of a bummer.

    Follows the same mechanic as Evil Hunter/Structured Entropy.
    I see no problem with this.

    Entropy seems to be effected by this as well, probably all slotted bonuses are then. I'm just wondering if this is a bug or intentional. I just thought with TG it was supposed to change to where you only needed these skills on one bar to gain the slotted bonus, unless I read the patch notes wrong?

    This was a misinterpretation of the notes. You still need the ability on both bars to gain the passive slotted benefits of them. Honestly the change didn't no much, but it did allow for you to cast abilities and have them persist after bar swapping for their intended original duration (casting camo hunter or inferno will activate a buff that will persist through bar swaps, even if they are not on the other bar). This was already happening with the hunter abilities since they were never a toggle in the first place, but a few old toggles gained a little bit of freedom with the change.

    It's intentional.
    The only difference now you can gain the active effects of these abilities without having the ability slotted on both bars. So for inferno, you gain the little fireball attack when you which skill bars after activating the ability, but nothing else.

    Ah, okay thanks guys. I guess it's no biggie then, I was just drooling over the prospect of having that one extra skill slot open this whole time. Ah the possibilities! Oh well... I suppose one can always dream :D .

    It's the same situation with the Werewolf Transformation, Flawless Dawnbreaker, and any vampire power (to trigger the passives that shut down if you don't have one slotted). It's been this way for awhile.

    Any ability that toggles, you need to have it no both bars. So, Clanfear, Bound Armor, I don't know why only sorc abilities are coming to mind right now. But, anyway.

    An ability that fires and has a timer on it, like Rally or Siphoning Strikes, can be triggered, and then you can switch bars (so, you can actually apply Rally to a non-2h weapon this way). The effect will persist. But, if there's a passive bonus for having a skill slotted, that will be lost.

    The biggest changes in the patch were a couple abilities, like Magelight, being changed from toggles to click and swap skills. The basic behavior didn't change, just the implication for those abilities.

    Not sure if that's the behavior you were trying to work through or not.
