Thanks everyone. I was surprised to see this threat revived. I was also surprised to see a reply from a friend. Hi @Shadesofkin . Since I wrote this post, I've had a lot of success getting champion points by grinding a new character to vet 16. Since I was already using psijic ambrosia to grind her up, the CP just kept rolling in. The process wasn't tedious, because I was excited about different kinds of milestones: doing Cadwell Silver and Gold for the skill points, leveling up weapon and class skill lines, unlocking my next tier of armor, and trying out PvP with a new class. In the span of a couple of weeks, I got about 50 CPs I'm guessing. I am now less than 10 CPs away from the soft cap!

Even though the progress of this new vet 16 character will be lost, I am sure that ZOS will have some kind of compensation for vet levels when the Dark Brotherhood rolls along.

I've enjoyed the Undaunted Pledges; you get a good chunk of experience and the drops are nice too.
