Seriously though. It's madness. I wasted good money upgrading my hardware only to realize ESO is a lagfest no matter what you are running. And I also tried everything. 32bit 64bit. Lowest graphics possible. No change because the issue isn't on our end. It's an ESO problem and LAG is the number 1 issue and has been for 2 years, yet nothing's improves at all. Just new content and introduction of new bugs that were not there on the PTS while us loyal helpful customers spending $$ on DLC and crowns and testing for them on PTS get a unfinished product pushed to live.

I don't understand while they don't just remove their pushed out code that broke it in the first place (bot patch, aoe caps, lighting patch) or at least lower the population limit since the sever cannot handle so many at this time.

This game needs A lot of TLC but we getting nothing but DLC servers need to be shut down for about a week or so and be reset or rebuild

It's usually so bad I don't even know what's going on most of the time. I Just press a lot of these button things and dodge roll occasionally hoping to survive. It doesn't work.

I'll keep saying the same thing over and over "buy another goddamit megaserver/link provider".

Splitting your base players between two, three, four servers (lol) and increasing the link speed/bandwidth, IMHO, as non-engineer (at least I assume I am not), means more hardware power and more fluid traffic between clients/server to handle whatever the heck is going on.

Been having issues since TG hit live. People keep saying it's gotten better and that it only lags every once in awhile now, but I can't even step into cyro without having problems. Every time a group of 10+ is within a earshot the whole situation goes to hell. I get 2-3s delays on skills, bar swapping won't work, stam break and dodge rolling don't happen, and most times it actually just freezes up and kicks me.

I play with 40mbs download speeds and while my rig is a couple years old, it still has decent specs and runs everything else almost flawlessly. I've tried all sorts of things to get it to work properly. It's so bad that I pretty much have to quit playing in Cyrodiil now. In some cases it occurs outside of Cyrodiil too, just less frequently. I keep thinking it must be something on my end, but there's nothing left to do. I've upgraded my internet, checked all drivers, adjusted settings up and down to get performance boost (and btw, not a single graphics change helped the situation), done speed tests and run several other games to pinpoint the issue... I've literally tried everything I can think of, and everything people have suggested to me.

That won't work.
It's the same issue with FPS in this game, bad programming.
You can have a powerful pc that can handle every modern game but still have 10 fps max in mass pvp (while dipping down to 5) or struggling to go over 25fps in daggerfall when there are some people more than usual.
Even with a bigger server their code is so bottlenecked that would eventually make it lag too, they need to make some changes to the core of the game...rather pessimistic about that

That lag is server response time - not your internet speed or pc.

ZOS should look at lowering the locked count, and opening a few more campaigns if needed to compensate. PvP is much better out of peak times.

This is the worst I have ever seen Cyrodiil game performance. ZOS has had two years to fix the Cyrodiil problems of low fps, lag, game freeze, crashing and high ping rates. They in a nutshell have done nothing but say "We are aware if the issues and are working on fixes". Now with the new release of the Thieves guild add audio issues. Heck game performance was so bad last night many times I could not even use my attack buttons. Nothing would happen or if I used an attack it took a few seconds for the animation to finally happen.

To sum up Cyrodiil at this point I only need to use one word PATHETIC.

To sum up ZOS as this point I can only say TOTAL INCOMPETENCE.

The lag and latency has carried over to PvE world too. So whatever they're doing, it is working.
