Missing Characters in Login Screen

This morning when I logged on, my main character was not visible on her login page. Other characters were, but she was not. So I logged back out, and logged in again. This time all characters were missing on their page. I didn't try to log into the game.

I did close the window completely and restart the 64-bit client. This time all the characters were present. So that was odd.
Now let's dig on the Dirt Mound... (never gonna get it, never gonna get it, NEEEEver gonna get it, never gonna it)

It happened a few times to me. That, along with all the other visual bugs and the absolutely awful sound bugs made me switch back to the 32-bit client for now. The 64-bit client is much more stable in my experience, though, so ultimately I had to choose between crashing often or playing with headache-inducing bugs.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

For me It's the exact opposite - it's the 64bit that crashes all the time, 30% chance it will crash right after launching the game. Never had crashing issues with 32bit, well I did have an occasional one, maybe once a month tops, but the 64bit seems to be a guaranteed crash at least once per session.
    Sometimes, I dream about...cheese...

Dermont - v16 Pompous Altmer Sorcerer (With a very arrogant face!)
Egonieser - v16 Nord Stamina Dragonborn Wannabe
Endoly - v16 Tiny Redguard Sharpened MaceBlade
Egosalina - v16 Breton Cheesus Beam Specialist
Egowen - v16 Dunmer Whipping Expert (Riding crops eluded her)
(Yes, I had to grind all these to v16)
Akamanakh - lvl 22 Khajiit GankBlade (Inspired by Top Cat)
Targos Icewind - lvl 34 Imperial (Future) Jabplar
    (CP 830+)

    PC - EU

I had a major crash last week. resulted in a 21 hour download. When I logged in all my chars were gone.

Took me a while to realise the launcher had set to US and not EU.
At least the spelling is difficult for you.
