Edit: Also its not a promo...its more taking advantage of free publicity which is the norm for ANY company and if i had one i would do the same, love them free advertisement from famous people i don't even know who they are.

Honestly there isn't anything wrong with promoting your product but it better be the best there is and not just the "winner of the best MMO in 2015 ... cuz it's really the only MMO out that is worth mentioning" award. This game is so broken (and yep I still play it) and they're paying people to endorse it and it's so blatantly obvious. So I guess there is a problem promoting your product when that money could have been spent, SHOULD HAVE BEEN SPENT, fixing a broken game. Just my 2 cents.

Yup. Exactly what I was saying. They have no problem doing all this PR crap like:

But they can't/won't talk to their community about their broken game. Popular forum topics get "moved" to obscure sub groups because they know the thread will die faster. Even eso live questions are hand-picked for their own convenience and are never any hot topics. I honestly have been a staunch supporter of this game until very recently. All the problems are getting ridiculous.

I'd be genuinely surprised if ZOS paid him to say that.

The Backstreet Boys were obnoxiously popular when I was a kid and I had to resort to google to find out who he is. I doubt there's enough people who still care to justify the money.

Agreed. Nick is a young fellow with alot of free time, and I think it could be be in the realm of possibility that he is at least familiar with and plays ESO. I sure celebrities have hobbies, too.

It's at least some what more believable than if someone like, say Kim Kardashien or Arianna Grande said it.

No, I truly believe he doesn't play this game. Seeing as how it comes right in the middle of all this PR zos is doing: 3 interviews, 1 million giveaway, and also having a few famous twitch people come over and play, I highly doubt it. Not to mention the dude is apparently on tour, and also with the state of the game (constant crashes, lag spikes, fps drops), I have no idea why he'd put up with it while being on the road.

Oh nice. So you must be one of the people that do Vet Maelstrom a lot and have no issues with dropping down to sub 20 FPS? You must also be one of those people that can get an entire raid together for the new trial and not have anyone lag out/crash out? I'm guessing when you PVP you have all your abilities work, and your latency doesn't go up to 999+. I'm guessing you don't crash ever, for no reason? God, what are your comp specs, and what connection are you running? Must be amazing.

He's just over a month shy of being on the forums 2 years. I have been around the forums for 2 years. Granted, I don't post much but I read. Salty over games that won't kill ESO? They won't kill ESO because they're nothing like ESO so your point is moot. We're salty because we have every right to be salty. Zeni is pushing a product that is sub-par, at best, and not listening to the people that allow them to keep their jobs. Their customers. That, sir/ma'am, is why we're salty.

The only thing I see here that ZoS could have gotten right....is the look of the vampires!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!! But they didn't, instead we have whatever that pale ugly thing is that looks like it needs plastic surgery.

Uf is so hard to do a sarcastic post this days everyone is so salty...
YES you are correct only ESO can kill ESO but overall they ARE doing a good job , you have a game that is Lore friendly, the quests are not just go in place A kill stuff and then go in place B to gather stuff, PVP is fantastic but they have messed up the code of the game and now is a lag party (they are trying to fix it instead of re-write the entire code), End game is challenging and fun but there is not too much of it, AND overall the game is much better that when it was released.
I'm not a fanboy but in two years i've tried to play a lot of other games (the last one was BDO) and they are worst.
