Ice Magic

I've been wondering lately why there are not any classes that can efficiently use ice spells. When I bought the game and choose the ebonheart pact I was rather disappointed in the options for the sorcerer class. The best magic race for the pact it dunmer dark elves and they specialize in fire, something that dragonknights already have a monopoly on and playing a fire sorcerer goes against the passive lines. As any seasoned player knows those small bonuses and buffs are not small at all and make a huge difference. Buying the imperial edition and re-leveling is a rather poor option in my opinion. The sum it up I was wondering if there were any plans to balance the elemental classes in the future, I find it odd that sorcerers are limited to dark magic and lightning. I think removing the dark magic and replacing them with ice variations would be a great way to mix it up. Nightblades seem to use a lot of "dark magic" even though its called something else, let them have it.

They maybe looking into this problem last I heard they were looking into making a new class and Necromancer makes sense because well cold is related to death.

Necromancer would be pretty cool, I have another suggestion as well. Nightblades could have the ice damage class since sorcerers and dragonnights have the fire and lightning. Templars get nothing, they should put away the offensive abilities and heal me more often so I don't die.

I've always wanted to make a viable ice mage using 5x Winterborn, 3x Willpower, and 2x Ice Atronach monster set (datamined). Maybe one day! You can always dream....

Why don't they just make it so sorcs can spec into fire, lightning or ice?

Lightning form, frost cloak, fire cloak

Bolt escape, ice trail (makes enemies slower that are following you), flame path (burns them)

Overload: lighting ball, ice ball, fireball

    Atronach: storm, frost, fire (x2)

Kinda like the elementalist class from the Guild Wars games.

Based on staff type? Or SP intensive? Sorcs being lightning and dark is ok. I suppose it doesn't affect me too much as I run stam anyways.

My opinion on this is the same as it has been for the last year or so...

I'd hate to see a new class, due to feeling vexed I did not get that new class to choose from back when I myde my eight characters...

But I would hope for them diversifying the existing classes with more options, perhaps done similar to my very own Class Morph Idea... like, morphing the existing classes into three different directions through adding an fourth skill line out of three choices. And yes, I had "cryomancer" as one of the choices for sorcerors... (next to necromancer and spellsword)
