When enough of the PvE raiding guilds have had their fill on beating lackluster trail raids. Have gotten sick of making alts, and have decided to man up and come to Cyrodiil, only to get stomped relentlessly and start to complain? Then and only then will PvP get the attention that it needs.
In the last ESO live, a statement was made regarding the reasons for not making *good* gear available for AP.
The primary reason was that you didn't want those of us with "too much AP" to get things right away.
We're a few days into the patch, and we have it anyway - because we make a LOT more AP than most.
The result, there are now about 20 of us in each faction with the new set(s) that everyone wants in min/max configurations, upgraded to gold.

I don't think ZOS is really giving hardcore raiders what they want either. The target audience seems to be ultra casuals who buy DLC collector editions and convenience items, playing ESO in between other games. I see this game turning into a combination of Skyrim Online and The Sims.
I mean no disrespect to ultra casual players. My beef isn't with this audience, but the fact that ZOS is neglecting audiences it previously courted. ZOS leadership seems to have poor ethics. Mrs. Firor, if such a person exists, should be wary!
